MOZAMBIQUEEXPERIENCE THE PRISTINE MIOMBO WOODLANDS AND TOWERING GRANITE MOUNTAINS OF THE NIASSA RESERVE.
This unspoiled concession in northern Mozambique totals ap-proximately 1,400,000 acres within the 70 miles of Lugenda river frontage. The Niassa is every big game hunter’s ultimate dream as it is home to four of the Big Five as well as hippo and crocodile. There are healthy numbers of endemic and rare spe-cies, including the Niassa wildebeest, Böhms zebra, Roosevelt sable and Livingstone suni to name a few.
Here we have access to two hunting camps. Kambako main camp offers five luxurious thatched air-conditioned units with en-suite bathrooms and an open-air lounge/dining area graced with a superb infinity pool. Litule bush camp consists of three comfortable safari en-suite tents and the open-air dining and

This landlocked country is situated in eastern and central Africa, bordered in the east by Kenya, in the north by South Sudan, by the Democratic Republic of Congo in the west and by Rwanda and Tanzania in the south. The southern part of the country in-cludes a substantial portion of Lake Victoria and Uganda lies almost completely within the Nile basin.
We hunt four concessions namely the Kafu River Basin, Ajai Wildlife Reserve, Aswa-Lolim Ranches and Karamoja North. FISHING TRIPS INUGANDA
CW JAGDKONTOR IS THE EXCLUSIVE BOOKING AGENT FOR NILE FISHING TRIPS THROUGH UGANDA WILDLIFE FISHING SA-FARIS.
This country is any angler’s dream destination with numerous lakes and rivers to fish from. Huge Nile perch, catfish and Tiger fish are among the species you will find. It proves to be an un-forgettable adventure and it is also ideal as a side trip to add to your safari. While out fishing you will also have the chance to spot some hippo, crocodile, elephant and unique birdlife of the area.
Our operation is based at Murchison’s Falls National Park, one of the foremost sport fishing destinations in the country. It can either be done in half or a full day trips. The fishing is from the rocks on the bank of the river as well as from a boat anchored slightly lower downstream.
The most successful fishing months vary from year to year, but generally it is accepted that the drier months produce better fishing results - December to March and June to October. We catch all year round as it’s just that in these months there is less chance of rain, the water level is lower and clearer. Murchison Falls lies in the northwest of Uganda, approximately 6 hours drive from Kampala.

SAFARI GUIDEPERMITS AND LICENCESEach hunter is required to have a hunting licence issued in his/her name by the respective country’s legal authority. Addition-al CITES and/or TOPS permits are required for certain species such as lion, rhino, hippo etc. We obtain this on our client’s be-half and the cost will be indicated on the quote and contract.
FIREARMS AND AMMUNITIONFor thick-skinned dangerous game we recommend a .375 – .416 with 20 soft rounds and 20 solid rounds. For general plains game, a calibre between .270 to .300 with 40-60 rounds of ammunition is suggested as generally suitable for most hunts. Should a hunter wish not to bring his/her own rifle on the safari there are camp rifles and ammunition available for their use at an additional cost. It is advisable to take out full insurance for all firearms before travelling anywhere in Africa. Ensure that your ammunition is in a separate lockable container from your rifle. Each country we operate in has its own temporary firearm im-port legislation that must be adhered to by all hunters. Please inquire for more detailed information.
PREPERATION OF TROPHIESSkinning of trophies and field preparation is included in our ser-vices, however all trophy collection, dipping, taxidermy work, packing, and shipping of trophies are not included.
ENTRY AND VISA REQUIREMENTSTravellers to Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe must have a valid passport that is valid until six months after the initial date of travel and has at least one blank page for endorsements, a valid visa (if required), a return or on-ward ticket and a yellow fever certificate if the journey starts or entails passing through the yellow fever belt of Africa or South America. Requirements for visitor’s visas differ from country to country and they are subject to change. All visitors must check with their destination’s nearest consulate or embassy in their country of origin, on entry regulations and obtaining a visa.
HEALTH AND TRAVEL INSURANCEIt is important to note that all hunting safaris are potentially dan-
gerous and it is each client’s own responsibility to arrange his/her medical, evacuation or personal insurance. We recommend Ripcord Comprehensive Travel Protection (www.ripcordtrav-elprotection.com) as a preferred travel insurer. Each hunter is advised to bring a small personal medical kit with necessary pre-ferred medication for headaches, colds, burns, allergies etc. It is advisable to take malaria prophylactics before arriving in any high-risk malaria area. Adequate clothing as well as mosquito repellent are important to minimize mosquito bites.
BOOKING AND PAYMENTBookings are confirmed on receipt of the signed safari contract and 50% of the total daily rate (or otherwise indicated on your contract). The balance due (which consists of the balances of the daily rate, trophy fees of reserved animals and all extras) is payable 90 days prior to the commencement of the safari. Trophy fees of any animals killed/wounded and any additional expenses incurred during the trip, are payable at the conclusion of the safari and can be paid in cash in camp (US dollar notes, clean and unmarked and not older than 2009 series only) or by electronic bank transfer. Any unused credits will be refunded within 30 days of the safari end date. Any other payment ar-rangement must be authorized in writing. There will be no refund of any deposit paid within six (6) months prior to the commence-ment day of the hunt. If cancelled longer than 6 months prior to this date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
INDEMNITYIt must be noted that hunting is a dangerous vocation and al-though CW Jagdkontor is committed to your safety, comfort and enjoyment, we cannot be held responsible for any accidents, illness or death that may occur whilst on the safari.
