We provide a Vacation Care Service for children attending Private Schools (i.e. Heritage and Avondale, Brightwaters and Christian College) that operate outside of the Public-School Holiday calendar. However, excursions will be dependent upon the number of children attending. A risk assessment has been prepared and is available for viewing at the service for all excursions.

Important information: We estimate to have approximately 57 children on our excursions each day. In the event that our numbers increase significantly over this a casual staff member/s will be called from Mirrabooka Early Childhood Centre. Children are asked to not bring electronic items or any toys or money to Vacation Care as they could be lost or broken. If a child brings an electronic device (i.e. mobile phone, tablet, etc) they will be confiscated and given back at the end of the day. All meals and transport is provided Please bring a water bottle with you name on it. Staff to children ratios: 1:15 at Morisset OOSCH, 1:15 on excursions, 1:8 on excursions in water. These ratios are a guide and each excursion is determined due to the risks involved. Children will have access to drinking water at all times during the excursions. A first aid kit will be readily accessible in case of minor accidents. Morisset OOSCH: 0423 518 416 Children cannot attend excursions unless this form is signed and returned. Parents will be charged if they are absent from this bookings.

Cost: $60 per day (minus subsidy). Some activities have an additional cost which is stated below. Bianca Slyvetser (Nominated Supervisor), Sarah Znidersic Diploma, Crystal Rouland Diploma, Robyn Hewitt Diploma, Amanda Balkema, Tanisha Jackson working towards ECT (Certified Supervisor),Chantel Edwards, (Certificate 3) Kristie Lee Curtis(ECT) and Gemma Bodley (ECT) who have completed approved anaphylaxis, CPR and emergency asthma management training who will accompany the children on the excursions. Morisset OOSCH has a suitably equipped and well stocked first aid kit is taken on all excursions and that the children on such an excursion are accompanied by a primary contact staff member who has a current approved first aid qualification, an adult who has completed approved anaphylaxis management training and an adult who has completed approved emergency asthma management training. Ralph Marsh , Jedd Znidersic drive the services buses during the school holidays.

Terms and conditions of Enrolment – Vacation Care By signing an activity above you are thereby giving permission for your child/children

to participate in that particular activity and travel to and from the activity by the mode of transport stated. Public Access – Due to

Legislation and new Laws that prevent children’s services from being operated in public premises, vacation care students will not be mixing

with the public. Weather/Changes – Activities and excursions are subject to change at any time due to weather and/or unforeseen

circumstances. If there are any changes in the schedule we will let you know the alternate outing/activity as soon as possible. Excursion

fees – The administration fee/entry fee displayed on the schedule is an extra fee on top of your daily fee. This is to be paid in cash or by

EFTPOS on the day of the event. The permission note attached will need to be completed for your child/children to attend. This will

highlight anything specific to the event. Things to bring – for all excursion please provide your child/children with a hat (that covers ears

and neck), drink bottle, backpack, enclosed shoes and a change of clothes if necessary. Please label all your child’s belongings. All meals

and transportation are provided. Arrival and departure – for all excursions please have your child/children at the centre by the specified

time. We will be leaving on time and are unable to wait. Please be at the centre by 10am and we are usually back from excursions by 3pm.
