JM&A reached out to HALO for their “family reunion” trip that they plan every other year as an incentive for 500 families

of four. HALO was asked to come up with creative fun ideas that can be sent to the winners as a confirmation gift. This

gift must appeal and raise excitement for the whole family, including young children, teens and adults when the gift is

delivered to their home.

Code42 wanted to develop thank you gifts for their new business customers, so they turned to HALO to create a

remarkable three tier gift system. The three tiers included major, national, and corporate accounts. A new “handshake”

1. Initiation – A project outline is created giving the sourcing team the information they need to evaluate the

project and identify compatible manufacturers.

2. Product Sourcing – Compatible manufacturers are supplied with project details, images and delivery details.

Bids are collected and reviewed.

3. Logistics and Supply Chain – Based on client requirements each factory in the manufacturers supply chain

is audited to ensure QC standards are met. Delivery logistics and timelines are evaluated and approved.

4. Client Quotation Delivery – HALO coordinates pricing and deliverables and a formal quote is created for

client approval with project timelines.

5. PO Issuance – Upon receipt of client purchase order raw materials are ordered and production is initiated.

6. Sampling and Approval – Once virtual proofs are approved, pre-production samples are sent for testing,

then sent to client for approval. (See QC schedule and testing images.)

7. Delivery – Goods are shipped, processed through customs and delivered to client.

To support their “Hope Hero” initiative American Cancer

Society needed a fundraiser thank you gift. 15,000 capes

where ordered with goods produced at 30% lower than

market prices. ACS reported that this was the most

successful promotion in their history.
