Yoga Classes at

One Kenton Place!

We have been honored to have our very own yoga instructor as a resident at One Kenton Place. Look at us doing amazing moves with our teacher! We also did different breathing exercises and learned relaxation techniques.

Karaoke & Ice

Cream Party We had a fantastic time at our party with families and friends on Sunday, July 17th. We sang the ‘day’ away to great tunes from our favourite singers, including Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. We also enjoyed ice cream on such a hot summer day.

Baking

At One Kenton Place, our residents enjoy a baking class each Monday. We make different types of desserts every week, including chocolate chip banana cake, Hershey’s famous chocolate cake, and chocolate chip cookie bars. It looks like we have a chocolate theme going on here… When we bake, we engage all of our senses, including smell, visual, tactile, auditory, and most important (we think), taste! On Thursdays, we make challah from scratch, and with the dough we make delicious cinnamon buns (with raisins of course!)

August 8th: Elvis Presley Party @ 1:00 p.m. August 14-20 will be Game Show Week!

August 15th we will be hosting our own version of the Price is Right @ 1:00 p.m.!

August 21-27 will be Yiddish Week! August 22nd: Yiddish Folk Dancing Party @ 1:00 p.m. August 28-31st will be ‘Goodbye Summer’ Week

August 28th: Goodbye Summer Party with Isaac Herman @ 1:00 p.m.
