Haiti FundraiserStarting November 26, Christmas ornaments from Haiti and Haitian made jewelry will be on sale in the lobby. Christianity 101Please join us for Christianity 101 on Sunday, November 19, 6–8:30 pm in the Fireside Room. Taught by Steve Crane, this class covers the purpose and mission of ECC and basic Christi-anity. It is designed to help you grow in your relationship with Christ.

Basics of IslamOn Wednesday, November 29, at 7 pm, Dr. Steven Crane will present this class on the fundamental teachings of Islam in the Worship Center. Pick up a postcard at the Welcome Center if you’d like to invite others.

Young Adults (18–29)Gather with us at Tin Roof Tacos downtown on Sunday night at 6 pm! With Thanksgiving break, we will not be having The Gathering but will be headed to Tin Roof for dinner and fel-lowship. ECC NOVEMBER MISSIONS: Hear the Cry of the World GLOBAL—Operation Christmas Child. Our goal is 1,500 boxes to touch the hearts of children in third world countries around the world. The love of Jesus and the Gospel is always shared in person where the boxes are delivered.

COMPASSION—Holiday Meals and Christmas Giving Tree. Every year we help those in need in our church family and some friends in need in our com-munity. Please help support the meals and tree project by your monetary or meal gifts, and by adopting gifts to give to help others in need.

LOCAL—City Light and River of Life need our help and support. Boise Rescue Mission serves over 1,000 meals a day in winter at $2.05 per person. The goal is $4,100 = 2,000 meals.

LOCAL—Feed The Homeless. Our Youth Ministry partners with the Vine-yard Church to feed the homeless one Sunday per month. If your small group would like to serve another week, contact Scott Didriksen at 208-761-6711.

This Week’s Memory Verse Luke 12:37—Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them. (ESV)

Operation Christmas ChildThanks for giving to share the Love of Jesus Christ with children in third world countries around the world. Our boxes will be taken to Ustick Baptist on Nov. 20. Christ’s love will be demonstrated and proclaimed to millions of kids through this ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. (Go online and hear Franklin Graham talk about this ministry.)

Progressive Dinner Stop at the West Information Center to sign up for the Progressive Dinner, which is on Sunday, December 10. This is for adults only, and is a great way to get to know others in the church! Deadline for signing up is November 26. Limited seating is available. Blessed in Idaho Quilt The quilt, made by the Boise Basin Quilters, is on display in our lobby today. It will be taken to Washington DC and delivered to the White House in January. If you are willing to pray for our government (1 Timothy 1:1–2), please sign the accompanying book and continue to pray for our government and nation.

Family Christmas at ECCChristmas is coming—and we want to help your family get into the holiday spirit! On Friday, December 8, at 7 pm, join us for an evening of music (including ECC’s own elementary kids), comedy, food, and games—plus a variety of photo booths for fun family snapshots. It’s going to be a highlight of this Christmas season, so don’t miss it!
