Tentative Tour Plan
Museum Tour (40mins)
To prevent congestion at any point of the museum:
1. If there is an entrance at Zone 5 i.e. Zone 1 and 5 are connected:
Groups 1 and 2 start from Zone 1 (clockwise tour)Groups 3 and 4 start from Zone 2 (clockwise tour)
Groups 5 and 6 start from Zone 4 (anti-clockwise tour)Groups 7 and 8 start from Zone 5 (anti-clockwise tour)
2. If there is no entrance at Zone 5:
Groups 1 to 4 start from Zone 1 (clockwise tour)Groups 5 to 8 start from Zone 5 (anti-clockwise tour)

Students are to proceed to their designated zones upon entering the museumwithout lingering at other zones.
All groups are to gather at the chapel when tour is completed.
Students can take the opportunity to observed the architecture of the chapel
and also discuss further on their selected project.
Objectives of Tour
Heritage project: Students are to look at each zone, and decide as a group on
their heritage project according to a zones theme.
Suggested projects for each zone
Zone 1: Storyboard
Write a detailed account of how life was for the POWs, war veterans and local
etc during the Japanese occupation.
Zone 2:
Conduct online research on Changi Prison and explain its significance and
heritage value.
Zone 3:
Write a report on the significance of the Changi Murals and their heritagevalue.
Zone 4:
Conduct an online research on Singapore wartime artists and a photo
montage.
Zone 5:
Choose a particular war personality on display and retell his/her story and theinspirations derived.
The above are just suggested project ideas, students are encouraged to come
up with their own project ideas.

Note that the above point will apply to all groups with ten (10) or morevisitors / students, with the exception of seat-in-coach groups, whereby the
travel agency is kindly requested to call and inform the Museum of thenumber of passengers at the start of the tour.
It will be greatly appreciated if all guides, facilitators and organizations extendtheir fullest cooperation to the Management and staff of the Museum. This will
assist us in ensuring a meaningful experience for all visitors to the Museum.
For the same reason, the Management reserves the right to refuse entry to
any individual, group or organization that does not adhere to the above.
