WCDMA TestGuidelines

1.  The WCDMA SSV test include:

A: Mobility test B: Handover(3G->2G)test C: Static test(Pointing test)

2.

Mobility test

A: You should lock all the Scrambling Code of the target site in TEMS.

B: Test route

Road site 1 Road site 2 City site

City site: Ensure you are close to the site before you start the test and make

sure that the radius for the test is about 1km.

3.  Handover(3G->2G)test

In the Dedicated mode (WCDMA), make the signal bad, then it will perform

hard handover to GSM.

4.  Static test

A: Voice test: Lock the Scrambling Code of target cell

B: Video test: Lock the Scrambling Code of target cell

C: R99 test (DL&UL): Lock the Scrambling Code of target cell and lock the R99 in

TEMS·

D: HSPDA and HSUPA test: You cannot lock the Scrambling Code of target cell

while using the modem, so you must ensure that you are directly under the

sector which is to be tested so that the Modem can camp on the target cell

steadily.

5.  Name rule:

FOR PS

B:Export the logfile(Mobility test choosing MS2 for HSDPA) to Mapinfo

The KPIs needed for the export are:HS-DSCH Throughput; AS CPICH EcNo;

FOR EVENT

C: Export the logfiles(All of the logfiles for this site) to Mapinfo, and then get the

Event number from the Mapinfo. Below is the Event statistics (SSV report->test
