RF Cabinet ModulesRF Cabinet Modules

� The BTS3900A cabinet comprises an RF cabinet and a power cabinet. The

extension battery cabinet and transmission cabinet are optional.

� The RF cabinet comprises the following entities: WRFU, DCDU , FMUA, and FAN unit. The power cabinet comprises the following entities: BBU,

PDU, PMU and PSU.

� You can choose to configure the BTS3900A with a battery cabinet and a transmission cabinet. This helps to expand the battery capacity and the

installation space for optional user devices.

configurable with the step size of 300 m;

RF Cabinet Modules --- DCDU-02 Board� The direct current distribution unit

(DCDU) module leads power to each component in the cabinet.

� Functions

� The DCDU supports the 1-way -

48 V DC power input and 4-way -48 V DC power output.

� The DCDU leads -48 V DC power

to the WRFU and FMUA in the RF cabinet.

� The DCDU-02 has the built-in

surge protector board, which provides 10 kA surge protection

capability in differential mode and

15 kA in common mode.

RF Cabinet Modules --- FAN Unit

� The FAN unit provides the functions of ventilation and heat dissipation for the cabinets. A FAN unit consists of two independent fans.

� Functions

� Providing forced ventilation and heat dissipation

� Supporting the temperature detection

� The FAN unit supports:

− Adjustment based on the temperature and adjustment controlled by the main control unit

− Fan rotation control function. The FAN unit stops the rotation of the fans when

the ambient temperature is low.

� The FMUA module is a fan environment monitoring unit.

� Functions

� Leading -48 V DC power to the FAN unit

� Collecting environment alarms of the cabinet, such as temperature, humidity, smoke, water, and door status alarms

� Collecting surge protection alarms of the DCDU

� Supporting the functions of temperature detection and report

� Supporting cascaded and extension FMUA through the RS485 port

� The AFMU board refers to APM Fan Monitor unit Interface Board.

�Provides DC power supply to

the APMI and AFMU boards through

The battery control switch has two control ports ON and OFF, which are

used for powering on and off the battery.

•Press and hold the port ON for 5s to 10s until the battery is powered on.

•Press and hold the port OFF for 5s to 10s until the battery is powered off.

CAUTION:

•You need to insert a small round bar into the hole when you operate the

battery control switch. When you hear a crack, the battery is powered on or

off.

•To operate the battery control switch on the front panel of the PMU, insert

a small round pole into the hole.
