We will be providing a wide array of state of the art rentals right in the marina to make your holiday even more fun and always memorable. We will also provide you with the information you need to make your adventures happen. Our rental items include: ski and wakeboard boats, personal watercraft, pontoon boats, paddleboards, kayaks and a whole lot more. We are introducing mountain bikes as well this season so that you can take advantage of all the great trail work that has been done around the lake. Enjoy some great trail rides right from your personal floating resort.

Need a guide to come along? We can arrange that too. ask us for details when you book your vacation.

Bring your own computer! On lake support is available as needed. The service is plug n play using a standard network cable. No set up is required.

PLEASE NOTE: The times above are our goal, however we are at the mercy of a number of factors, including but not limited to what time our previous guests return to dock, the opening of the railway bridge, weather situations, etc. Please help us by adhering to your assigned return time. We will do everything we can to assure that the times stated above are met. We thank you for your patience.

RETURN TIMES Return times for all boarding programs are between 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and assigned at check-in. If you require a return time prior to 10:00 AM please make this arrangement with Guest Services upon check-in.

AM SAILING This is our standard boarding program and allows you to board your houseboat the morning (8:00AM – 12:00 Noon or when boat is fully serviced) of your scheduled departure date. If you plan on arriving the day before your scheduled departure date then take advantage of either the Bon Voyage or Early Board programs listed below.

BON VOYAGE This program allows you to board your houseboat a day (6:00 pm - 8:00 pm or when boat is fully serviced) prior to your scheduled departure date and leave our docks that evening an hour before sun sets. Due to the amount of daylight available the Bon Voyage program is only offered from June 6th to September 1st and may be limited to Mara Lake on the night of departure, especially as light wanes later in the season or in the event of unavoidable late departures. If for some

reason we cannot get you sailing before nightfall, you will be refunded the difference between the Bon Voyage and Early Board programs.

• Mirage 40, 42, 44, 54, 56 has an additional fee of $399 plus tax, plus 1 day insurance.

• Mirage 65, 65U, 66 and Genesis 60, 66, 70, 75, 75T has an additional fee of $449 plus tax, plus 1 day insurance.

• The Legacy 94 is not available in the Bon Voyage program.

PLEASE NOTE: This optional Bon Voyage program is subject to availability so book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

EARLY BOARD This program allows you to board your houseboat the evening (8:00 pm - 10:00 pm or when boat is fully serviced) prior to your scheduled departure date and stay on your boat on our docks allowing you to leave on your vacation the next morning. The advantages are many: It is considerably less expensive than motel lodgings for several people. You can complete your paperwork, get your gear on board, receive your orientation on operation, and then relax for an enjoyable evening on the dock.

• Mirage 40, 42, 44, 54, 56 has an additional fee of $349 plus tax.

• Mirage 65, 65U, 66 and Genesis 60, 66, 70, 75, 75T has an additional fee of $399 plus tax.

• The Legacy 94 has an additional fee of $499 plus tax.

PLEASE NOTE: This optional Early Board program is subject to availability so book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

BOARDING DEPARTING & RETURNS


BOOKING POLICY A reservation can only be confirmed upon receipt of a Reserva-tion Deposit. The deposit for the Legacy 94 is $1500 all other models are $750. This deposit is due at the time of booking and may be made by Cash, Cheque, Visa or MasterCard. Please note we cannot hold a reservation without a deposit.

SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS Upon arrival, a Security Deposit is required. This deposit is refundable; less any outstanding charges including lost or dam-aged items, excessively unclean boats or any damage resulting from negligent operation of, or activity on the houseboat. The security deposit on Mirage 40, 42, 44, 54, 56, 65/65U with insur-ance purchase is $2,500 or $5,000 without. The security deposit on the Mirage 66, Genesis 60, 66, 70, 75, 75T is $5,000 with insurance purchase or $10,000 without. The Legacy 94 requires a $7,500 security deposit with insurance purchase or a $15,000 deposit without. This is payable by Visa, MasterCard or cash. No personal or company cheques are accepted.

FINAL PAYMENT INFORMATION The full charter fee is due 60 days prior to boarding. 90 days prior for the Mirage 66, Genesis 60, 66, 70, 75, 75T and Legacy 94. Please send a post-dated cheque or allow authorization of your Visa / MasterCard, payable 60/90 days prior to boarding, at the time you book your reservation. Your reservation will be cancelled without notice if we do not receive payment in full by the due date.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS The Insurance option which provides coverage for the rented houseboat is as follows, you may purchase insurance for $34/day plus tax, which will buy you a deductible of $1,000 (Legacy 94 $1,500). The insurance covers fire, marine collision, any unusual risks or damages, it does not cover prop damage or any damage to the underside of the houseboat,

lost inventory items, or damage caused by the charterer’s own negligence. If you choose to waive the insurance op-tion, then Waterway Houseboats will require an increase of your Security deposit from $2,500/$5,000/$7,500 to a $5,000/$10,000/$15,000 damage deposit.

CANCELLATIONS There is no fee for a cancellation or change made within 10 days of booking on reservations made more than 60 days prior to sailing on these models: Mirage 40, 42, 44, 54, 56, 65 and 65U. You will be charged a $525 facilitation fee plus taxes if you can-cel or change your reservation 60 days or more prior to sailing. In the event of a cancellation LESS than 60 days prior to sailing your full charter payment will be forfeited* Mirage 66, Genesis 60, 66, 70, 75, 75T - you will be charged a $750 facilitation fee plus taxes and the Legacy 94 - you will be charged a $1000 facilitation fee plus taxes if you cancel or change your reserva-tion 90 days or more prior to sailing. In event of a cancellation LESS than 90 days prior to sailing your full charter payment will be forfeited*

*On cancellation less than 60/90 days Waterway will retain your full charter rental unless your boat is re-chartered. You would then receive a refund of the re-charter value less a facilitation fee of $525/$750/$1000 plus taxes, plus any specials or dis-counts to re book the boat. All cancellations must be in writing.

PET POLICY We strongly advise against bringing pets on your houseboat vacation. If you do wish to bring a pet, there is a $100 +HST fee charge per pet and we ask that you contact our reservations specialists to discuss our pet policy.
