Christmas Special by Watermelons

For Christmas special, Watermelons decided to organize a contest on one of the popular

social network FACEBOOK in which the winner will get a gift voucher worth Rs 2000/-.

The objectives to organize the contest were:

1. To increase social reach on Facebook.

2. To bring footfalls in the store by way of giving incentives to the Facebook fans.

3. Increase in audience engagement on the page.

SUPER SANTA contest by Golden Phoenix Keeping in view the above mentioned objectives, Golden Phoenix devised a SUPER

SANTA contest for Watermelons on Facebook. Below mentioned is the brief description of

the contest:

Super Santa Contest will be a 'Upload Picture’ based contest and will be conducted from

15 Dec, 2011 to 20 Dec, 2011. In this contest, users will be asked to Upload their KID

picture on the page. And the entry that will receive maximum Votes will be declared as the

winner.

Promoting SUPER SANTA Contest

Following Promotional methods will be used to promote the contest on Facebook

1. Facebook Advertisements based on contest details will be run

2. A contest creative will be put in Welcome Tab to introduce contest to our new users

3. Display Picture will be designed to let our current users know about ongoing contest

4. Creatives will made to share on the page wall

5. Frequency of updates will be increased to 3, to notify users to know about the

contest

6. Personal messages will be sent to the users who will comment or Like the post

during contest period
