4. ALL EXISTING PERMANENT CONSTRUCTED (BRICK, ROCK) MAILBOXES SHALL BE LEFT IN PLACE AND PROTECTED ATALL TIMES. CONTRACTOR IS TO ALLOW USE AND ACCESS TO THE MAILBOXES AT ALL TIMES.
5. PIPE MAY BE DEFLECTED (CURVED) TO CHANGE ALIGNMENT AND/OR GRADE OR TO AVOID OBSTRUCTIONS. HOWEVER,THE DEFLECTION SHALL BE LIMITED TO 80% MAXIMUM ALLOWED BY THE PIPE MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATION.
6. MINIMUM COVER FOR ALL WATER MAINS SHALL BE 36-INCHES IN NON-ROADWAY AREAS. IN ROADWAY AREAS ANDBORES; THE MINIMUM COVER IN DRIVEWAYS OR ROADWAY AREAS SHALL BE 42-INCHES, EXTRA DEPTH SHALL BEREQUIRED TO CLEAR UNDER EXISTING UTILITIES.

1. REMOVE EXISTING PUMP, CHECK VALVE, AND PIPING AS SHOWN IN PHASE 1 DEMOLITION. ALLCONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES SHALL BE SCHEDULED AND COORDINATED BY THE CONTRACTORWITH THE OWNER (LEXINGTON UTILITIES) TO MINIMIZE IMPACT ON SYSTEM OPERATION.
2. EXISTING SKID/PLATFORM THAT THE EXIST PUMPS ARE MOUNTED ON SHALL BE SUPPORTED WITHSUITABLE MATERIAL AND CUT TO ALLOW REMOVAL WITH EXIST PUMP 1. A NEW CONCRETE PADFOR EACH NEW PUMP SHALL BE POURED AS SHOWN WITH A MINIMUM CLEARANCE OF 3" ON ALLSIDES FROM NEW PUMP FRAME SHALL BE REQUIRED.
3. THE PROPOSED PUMP TO BE INSTALLED SHALL PUMP 300 GPM AT 80' TDH. THE PUMP SHALL BE AVERTICAL IN-LINE PUMP, MODEL CR-90-2, AS MANUFACTURED BY GRUNFOS, OR ENGINEERAPPROVED EQUAL. THE PUMP MOTOR SHALL BE 20 HP, 230 VOLT, 3 PHASE, 60 HTZ, FOR PREMIUMEFFICIENCY.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ALL DIMENSIONS PRIOR TOBEGINNING OF CONSTRUCTION.
