Water Ionizer Comparisons

Recently it has been brought to my attention that o ne of the companies that sell water ionizers are making some claims that need to be addressed with c omparison to the Enagic SD 501. Lets make sure we are making “true comparisons”, in order to do that I decided to research the various brands from their own corporate websites. No distributor opinion or slanting is intended, just pure facts.

The recent attention concerning Tyent USA model 707 0 is because of some video’s showing real time comparisons, however in the newest version of this U Tube feature authored and acted by one of their distributors , (do you really think this guy works for free?, what kind of marketing system do they have?) They dismiss the Enagic system as bein g “old technology and “overpriced because of the supposed “marketing system that balloons the pri ce so in this version of comparisons they do not actually go head to head with the Enagic System . In their own words it was concluded that the Enagic SD 501 is an outstanding unit and the only n egative issue they could identify was the price. The truth is they can’t because as you will see fro m information from their own web site the systems are not even close to distributing the same water o r are made in the same way. The following information (again taken from Tyent USA own web sit e will help you to understand that true comparisons are not really being made.

I will break down the company, their history, manuf acturing, the specific product features, etc to giv e you the real facts.

I. Company Information

Enagic:

a. Established in 1974 as an exclusive manufacturer of “Kangen Water™ (this is a US Trademark owned by Enagic as the only company in the United S tates to use this term) trademark certificate available on request.

b. Exclusive manufacturing of “Kangen Water” made in company owned medical manufacturing facility in Japan (see Figure # 1 attachment titled Enagic History copy of Enagic Web site)

c. Privately owned founder and CEO Mr. Hironari Osh iro, reported capitol $ 60,000,000 (see Figure # 2 Company Profile attached)

d. Enagic works with a “Direct Sales, satisfied cust omer referral commission model which rewards customers for sales made by sharing the wat er, and helping others learn about Kangen Water. The goal of the company is to enhanc e life with better health and better wealth. Enagic promotes an opportunity for customers to enj oy an income derived from helping others understand the value of Kangen Water. This commission structure is developed with money that is normally used for advertising, sales, brokers, middle man distribution unlike other company’s who claim they have no marketing re ward system but in fact do. (see attachment # 3 Price Comparison Information) this i s a document by a expert in the field of electroplating manufacturing comparing actual quali ty, and design and systems to the actual price of the unit and comparing “mark up and profit” on each of these items.

e. Enagic has company owned facilities in Los Ange les, New York, Chicago, and Hawaii. There are no franchise requirements, costs, quotas, or ad ditional purchase requirements or inventory to be an Enagic referring customer.

Tyent USA:

a. Actual manufacture of product is a Korean based manufacture called TaeYoung E & T (this information found on Tyent USA website (see Figure # 4 document Tyent Korea then by a google search for “Tyent Korea”, see attached documen t (See Figure # 5 Tyent USA agent for Tyent Korea) also note at the bottom of this page i t indicates early on an opportunity for distributors and resellers. Does this mean they co nvince people to distribute their product for free? Of course not! Every company pays marketing expenses.

b. Tyent Korea, TaeYoung E& T (see Tyent Korea Hist ory Figure # 6 attachment), notice on the menu side of the company & in the company history t he various types of product that are manufactured. Water Purifiers, Ceramic Bracelets, Food Beds, Fermented Soap, Hangover beverage etc.

c. No indication of their capital, assets, faciliti es are mentioned.

d. Tyent Marketing System: (see Tyent USA marketing system Figure # 7 attachment) which indicates three ways to earn a commission, referral s, reseller and wholesale distributor. Tyent USA does have a marketing plan that pays commission s and in fact according to (attached document Cost Comparison Information their markup i s higher and the profit margins on their product is also higher than Enagic.)

II. Product Information

Enagic USA:

1. Enagic SD 501 creates 5 different levels of ph t o include 3 for drinking , one for neutral water and then by using a special electrolysis technology (not a chemical as Tyent indicates) it makes a very strong 11.5 ph water used for cleaning and a very strong acid water 2.5 ph for disinfecting that will kill bacteria. ( See attach ment Figure # 9 Enagic PH and ORP Spec’s)

2. SD 501 creates 230 watts of electricity which is essential in creating a complete electrolysis and ionization. (other units with 80 watts average run a risk of acid and alkaline water mixing together instead of a true separation created by th e SD 501.) (see attachment Figure #8 SD 501 brochure specs)

3. Enagic system has 7 large Titanium with speciall y coated Platinum plates. With a proven technology that runs continuously without overheati ng or stalling. (the total exposure of the water with the 7 plates is approx 450 % greater tha n other brands.

4. The SD 501 is the only unit on the market that h as a cleaning cartridge for periodic deep cleaning using a simple yet powerful technology inc orporated in the design of the system. (This will assist in keeping the system clean and f ree from scaling that will occur with any water system.) The SD 501 also has an automated cle aning system that is voice activated.

5. The SD 501 is the only system on the market with a technology that allows the unit periodically over the years to be stripped down and cleaned for a nominal fee to thoroughly clean the 7 plates that over time will accumulate scaling. The water cell can actually be dismantled and cleaned by Enagic technicians. Other competing uni ts including the new Tyent 7070 do not have this life expanding technology. When they are not efficiently producing the correct water because of scaling the water cell must be discarded and replaced at a price that could be prohibitive. It is because of this technology that the Enagic system will last for 15 years or more and carries a 5 year warranty.

6. The Enagic SD 501 system is the only system that will emulsify oil using the very strong alkaline water of 11.5ph (see SD 501 demo video for this amazing example)

Tyent USA:

1. The mesh technology over time creates a risk as the y expand and contract with heat and cold exposure. This eventually breaks down the mesh, an d could cause the Titanium to be exposed which could cause a health risk ( see Cost Comparison Information attachment)

2. The Tyent 7070 produces drinking water selections i n general (see attachment # 9)

a. (1) 7.7ph, to 8.2ph,

b. (2) 8.5ph to 9.5ph,

c. (3) 9.5 ph to 11.0 ph ( according to many health e xperts it is not recommended safe to drink ph 11.0ph, the separation of any ionized water must total ph 14, so whatever is coming out of the alkaline drinking side subtract t hat from 14 and you will get the offsetting acid water distribution). Thus according to Tyent USA website (see Tyent PH # 10 attachment) the highest level of Strong Acid Water can only be 3.0ph. which has no benefits for disinfecting as it is required to have at least a ph of 2.6 to produce the Strong Acid Water that the SD 501 creates and effectively will kill bacteria in 30 seconds.

d. The Tyent unit will automatically shut down after 5 minutes of use to “cool off” (see Tyent product website for additional information)

3. 85 watts of electricity used to create ionization (s ee attachment #10 document Tyent wattage and specs) THIS IS HUGE : It is the significant am ount of watts that create the proper split of the water in –ion anti-oxidant micro-clustered wate r. (See attachment # 3 for details)

Conclusion:

As you hopefully have now discovered, all water ion izers are not equal, a lower price is lower for a reason and not everything you read or see is real. The information above has all been collected from the individual company websites and marketing broch ures of each company, and by experts who can be well respected.

When making true comparisons it is easy to see why the SD 501 is the “Gold Standard” in the industry and even the lower price competition agree that it is an outstanding product. When it comes to years of improved health only the best should be considered. When you compare the cost over the expected life span it comes down to literally p ennies a day for the healthiest water on earth.
