•29% of FHS students have participated in heavy drinking in the
past 30 days (more than 5 drinks in a row)
• 4 out of 10 middle and high school students who consumed alcohol in
the past year have a serious problem with drinking
• Sexual assault and rape are more common among these people
• Every day an average of 11,318 teens try alcohol for the first time
• On a typical weekend in the United States, 1 teenager per hour dies in a
car crash• Over 45% of these crashes involve
