What is a Bed & Breakfast? The Bed & Breakfasts of Washtenaw County are pri-vate residences whose owners offer overnight lodging in their homes. All of us provide comfortable bed-rooms, most with adjoining private bathrooms. And, as the name implies, we serve a delicious breakfast the following morning as part of the package. We are an eclectic mix of large and small facilities ranging from one to nine rooms. Some B&Bs and Inns are located in rural areas or quiet neighborhoods; others are close to the University of Michigan or Eastern Michigan University campuses, or in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, Chelsea or Ypsilanti.

Across America, you can find Bed & Breakfasts in places ranging from cattle ranches to Victorian mansions to ski lodges. For the adventurous traveler, we are an attractive alternative to a conventional hotel or motel. None of us are exactly alike, but we have a number of attributes in common:

s A commitment to generous hospitality

s Personal attention to our guests

s Individually themed and decorated rooms

s Amenities such as wireless internet, free parking

s Complimentary snacks and beverages

s Architecturally interesting or historic structures

s Clean, comfortable ambiance and surroundings

As you plan your next visit to our area, give one of us a try!

You’re in for a warm welcome.
