How to register your Laundry Card
Upon receiving your laundry card please follow the steps below to register your card.
Log onto: www.washstation.co.uk and press top up your card.

Register as a new customer and enter the serial number found on the back of the laundry card

Remember!
Use capital letters for your
post code!
Click on the option to ‘Add Value’, here you can choose from £5, £10, £20,
£30, £40 or £50 denomination.
Once credit has been added you will be given
a unique 6 digit code. Make a note of this code
as you will need to enter this into the pinmate
machine located in your laundry room.
Once you have entered this unique code, it
will activate the top up and your card will be ready to use.
Simply follow the instructions on the front of your washing
machine and you are ready to go!

FAQs
I have forgotten my password/username what do I do? Call the Student Helpline and we can reset your password and notify you of your username
I have topped up my card and have forgotten the pin code for the pin mate machine Call the Student Helpline and we can remind you of the pin code. Alternatively log onto your account online and go to view transactions, where your pin code will be visible.
I topped up my Washstation card but the balance hasn’t changed when I present my card to the washer/dryer. Have you been to the pin mate machine in the launderette? After topping up your card, make a note of the pin code. Then enter this into the pin mate machine to activate your credit.
When registering my Washstation Card the card number is not recognised, why is this happening? Make sure your serial number is typed in the correct format as below:
What happens if I experience a problem with a machine? Please call the student helpline and report the problem and location. We aim to have an engineer with you within 4 hours. If there is a problem with the machine, a refund will be loaded onto your card the same day.
What credit Cards are accepted when topping up? You can use MasterCard, Visa or Switch.
I have lost my card, what do I do? You will need to buy a new laundry card from reception and re-register as a new customer. These cost £2 and funds are non transferable.

Service Procedure
A call is made to the student helpline

Washstation confirms receipt of call and gives estimated time of arrival for remedial repairs to be carried out
Engineer reports to Hall reception and signs in
Machine fault is located and repaired
All machines in laundry room are inspected
The engineer has his PDA signed and a service reports is emailed straight to the hall

Refund Procedure
We have made student refunds an easy and straight forward procedure
Fault is reported to the student
helpline 0800141 2331
If a refund is required this is automatically credited to the
student’s laundry card on the same
day
