Nuestras jóvenes en Robótica

¡Cualificamos para el campeonato de Robótica

de Latinoamérica! Washburn School sigue su

legado año tras año con estas cuatro jóvenes.

Desde records mundiales de robótica, hasta

competencias mundiales en California, Florida,

Kentucky y Maryland, todo con el fin de

aprender y crear pasión por todo "STEM"

(Ciencias, Tecnología, Ingeneria, Matemáticas).

Velázquez, Alanis Cubí, Rocío Quintana,

y Tzunami Santiago por sus logros

representando a Washburn School dignamente

siempre!

Hace tres años el ingeniero Armando Cubí

dirigió a cuatro niñas a romper records

mundiales en el Campeonato Mundial de

Robótica Vex en California y las asistió en

competir contra otros países representando a

Ponce, Puerto Rico y Washburn School! El

domingo 29 de enero lograron continuar la

historia en el 2017.

¿Sabía usted que en Estados Unidos hay una deficiencia de niñas que participen en STEM y la

deficiencia es mucho más grande en las niñas latinas?

Los invitamos a que sus hijas participen de la Robótica ya que hay campos de estudios donde

estas podrán solicitar cuando estén decidiendo qué estudiarán en la universidad tales como:

Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Science &

Engineer, Aerospace Engineering, Bioengineering, Environmental Engineering & Sustainability,

Material Science & Engineer.

¡Preparemos a nuestras niñas para un futuro laboral bien remunerado!

Bonjour Parents:

Only for students of 7th and 8th grade: Dates for the exams will be on

March 9, 2016 and on April 25, 2016.

The students are really motivated with learning a third language. It is

my upmost recommendation that you listen to them as they practice.

Also, it is highly recommended that they have a dictionary of French-

English so they can look up for words on their own time and seek self-

improvement.

In class assessments I have acknowledged that the students have been

studying and practicing at home. They have completed the work and

have helped each other as well. Keep up the good work!
