Community Benefit

We would like to provide this community with a family venue where families can take their children/grandchildren for a day of affordable entertainment.

It is a community feeling that the existing facility is not used being utilised to its full potential and they are excited about having a reason to spend the day at Warrina Lakes

Many of the service clubs have expressed interest in being able to use Warrina Park as a venue for their special function days, with the mini rail rides providing extra attraction.

At a further stage of development a rail link will include the Warrina Home for the Aged. Purpose built carriages will be provided for the elderly.

The Innisfail & District Community will benefit from a Family Fun Attraction to promote quality family time, a venue for model train enthusiasts to share their passion, link with other district tourist ventures to encourage and promote tourism to our area, retain the historic link this area has with railway transportation.

There is no other service similar to our project operating in Innisfail or neighbouring shires.
