We will do current events every Thursday!

We will alternate weeks to make sure each student has the chance to choose the article.

Articles must be submitted to Ms.Pierrot by that Tuesday!

Articles should be focused on either politics or historical happenings.

Please do not bring articles about celebrities, fashion, sports, etc.

In addition to the article, please develop 3-4 discussion questions. These should be questions which will initiate conversation.

If you can find a video on the article topic that is GREAT but not required.

STAMP ACT CONGRESS9 of the 13 colonies participated in the Stamp Act Congress.

SIGNIFICANCE- First time majority of the colonies came together to oppose British rule

Britain's response? They repealed the Stamp Act!
