THE HIMALAYAS
ANIMAL TYPES
There are many types of animals in the Himalayas
and they should be protected because some of them
are only indigenous to the Himalayan region and can
not be found anywhere else in the world.
MAMMALS
The mammals of the Himalayas are mainly large
animals but there are a few small ones like rodents
and small groundhog type animals.

PROBLEMS WITH BIODIVERSITY
The problems affecting the Himalayas are gas and
oil drilling, Illegal animal trade, and resource
gathering.
SOLUTIONS TO THESE PROBLEMS
The many solutions to these problems starts with
the education of people and the understanding of the
wildlife around the area so that we do not harm or
disturb them.
