November Event Descriptions:•LDE Sign-Ups Due (November 11th)
•Sign-Ups will be available for members that wish to participate in leadership development events.
•212/360 Conference (November 12th)•This is a state conference held in Ankeny that is open for all members to attend. It is focused on personal development.
•Fruit Sales•On November 15, ALL meat, cheese, and cookie dough orders are due. Fruit, candy, and Casey’s card orders are due November 28. These are firm deadlines, and no late orders will be accepted.
•Greenhand & Chapter Initiation (November 17th)•This is the monthly FFA meeting, and it is special becausethe Greenhand and Chapter members, (typicallyfreshmen and sophomores), receive their degrees.Parents and family are invited for a meal and the ceremony.
•Chapter Picture (November 18th)• This will take place at approximately 9:40am (3rd hour). Please wear the chapter FFA shirt.
•Appreciation Breakfast•This breakfast is held to show the chapter’s appreciationfor the community and supporters. 7:00-8:30am
•NAAE Conference (November 29th - December 3)(National Association of Agricultural Educators)
•Mrs. Doese will travel to this conference to receive an award for being an outstanding agricultural educator.

Christmas
Fruit Comes In
December Event Descriptions:
•Fruit Delivery•Fruit is expected to be around December 7, but could be a couple of days earlier or later. From the date of delivery, students have one week to pick up their fruit sales orders.
•Christmas Party•There will be a recreational activity that will be the chapter meeting and Christmas party during December. Date, Time, and Location TBA.
•Gift Exchange•Students interested in doing a gift exchange can sign up when thesign up sheet is sent around class. The date has yet to bedetermined, but it will likely be in the morning beforeschool.
•Service Project•There will be a service project that the students willhave the opportunity to participate in. The project willbe announced at a later date
•LDE Practices•LDE Practices will start during Christmas break.
