WaNavi Japan has been providing Earthquake Preparedness workshops for interna@onal residents since the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster in 2011, and con@nues to support people affected by natural disasters. Japan  and  understand  how  to  read  food  labeling.  Use  ingredients  unique  to  Japan!  

2.  Cri@cal  Language  Lesson  –  Learn  how  to  choose  and  order  food  according  to  dietary/religious/cultural  restric@ons  

3.  Hands-­‐on  Ac@vity  –  Taste  different  types  of  miso  and  learn  how  to  make  miso  soup  directly  from  Miso  Brewery  Master,  Mr.  Yoshinori  Noda!

2.  Cri@cal  Language  Lesson  –  Learn  polite  and  respechul  expressions  in  Japanese  useful  for  smooth  communica@on  in  different  situa@ons  

3.  Hands-­‐on  Ac@vity  –  Learn  how  to  sit,  stand,  walk,  bow,  and  eat  Japanese  cuisine  the  Ogasawara-­‐way  

In  Collabora@on  with:    We  are  working  with    the  Ogasawara  School  of  E@quege,    Archery  and  Mounted  Archery,  which  has  a  history  of  over  850    years  teaching    Japanese  E@quege  

Fee: 1,000 yen for each workshop

Maximum Number of Participants: 30 (Registrations on a first-come, first-serve basis)

Childcare: Childcare services available for all workshops from ages 4 months to pre-elementary school children
