WALLCOVERING HANGING INSTRUCTIONSPlease read the following instructions carefully before hanging this wallcovering. It is advisable that a professional decorator is used.

INSPECTION • Check that all wallcovering rolls are in good condition, with no shade variation and no other visible faults.• Inspection of the wallcovering must be done prior to hanging. No claim can be accepted after the wallcovering has been cut and hung. In the event of any complaint, please quote all references on the wallcovering label. • Supplier liability is limited only to replacement of the wallcovering. Check the design direction prior to hanging and please ensure you have ordered enough wallcovering to complete the job.

CONSIDERATIONS• Local conditions, particularly humidity, will differ and are beyond our control.• It is the responsibility of the buyer to confirm that the end-use environment is suitable for the wallcovering. We are unable to guarantee our wallcoverings’ suitability for all situations.

PREPARATION• Walls should be clean and dry. Remove all traces of old wallcovering, dirt and loose paint.• The wall must be as smooth as possible. • Absorbent surfaces must be sized with a primer or sealer.• New plaster should be completely dry.

PASTING AND HANGING• This is a ‘paste the wall’ product. The decorator should paste the wall and not the back of the wallcovering, applying an even coat of paste.• We recommend Dixon Turner heavy or strippable on plasterboard paste.• This wallcovering is approx 120cms (47") wide and allows for a 3cm overlap. Please overlap wallcovering widths and trim through using a sharp blade and steel ruler as a guide. Smooth out from the centre to the edges to remove bubbles with a brush.• Avoid squeezing paste out of the joins.• Any paste on the surface of the wallcovering should be wiped off while still moist using a clean damp sponge. Do not rub the edges of the wallcovering.• Ensure that the wallcovering is firmly stuck down, as in the event of fire, loose wallcoverings may contribute to the hazard.
