WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Institute will conduct Walk-in-Interviews on 18th and 19th July, 2012 for making contractual

appointments for the posts of Assistant Professors in the Department of Mechanical

Engineering and Technicians in different departments of Engineering & Sciences for current

academic session or till the joining of regular incumbents, whichever is earlier. The Assistant

Professor (on Contract) will be paid consolidated Salary of Rs. 35,000/- per month. The

candidates appointed as Technician (On Contract) will be paid consolidated salary of Rs.

18,500/- per month.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in Mechanical Engineering

BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in

BE/B.Tech or ME/Tech.

TECHNICIAN

For Engineering & Technology

First division (60% or equivalent CGPA) 3 years Engineering Diploma/BE/BTech in the

relevant branch of engineering/technology. Preference shall be given to B.Tech/BE

qualification and/or 3 years Engineering Diploma with experience.

For Sciences

First division (60% or equivalent CGPA) B.Sc in the relevant field. Preference shall be

given having M.Sc and/or relevant experience.

1. No TA will be given for appearing in the interview.2. The selected candidates shall be required to join the Institute immediately.3. The NOC is required from the employer, in case, candidate is holding regular position
