Members in attendance were Sherrie Miller, Ralph Thomas, and David Moody (via conference call). Staff present was Diane Bardhi. II. Citizens to Be Heard – There were no citizens to be heard. III. Website Committee – David Moody A. Review of Current Website Status 1. Navigation Update – D. Bardhi updated (6.25 service hours to revise) 2. Press Page Update – D. Bardhi updated (12 service hours to revise) 3. Updated Photos – Lynda Kinsey to deliver photos to D. Bardhi. 4. Content Edits – Allison Mills (intern) will finish after photos and contact lists are updated. B. Current Businesses – 1 Update Businesses – A. Mills working 2. Missing Photos – A. Mills / D. Bardhi scheduling day for outreach and photos. C. eBird Widget Location – Members discussed placing eBird widget and tide chart button at top near weather app. D. Social Media Feed – D. Bardhi reviewed. It’s been corrected. E. Sample Itineraries – D. Bardhi to gather cost for inviting up to 3 bloggers to visit and create itineraries. It was suggested that businesses can become more closely involved with this project by sponsoring itineraries. F. Specials & Deals 1. Business Education – D. Bardhi to send instructions for businesses to easily add specials and deals to website. H. Big Bend Scenic Byway Page – D. Bardhi to ask Stephen at The Connect Agency if we can add in the photo rotator on Home Page and link to BBSB website.

IV. Advertising Committee

A. Upcoming Project Learning Tree Event - D. Bardhi in contact with Jessica at Medart Elementary

regarding scheduling of the day. Members discussed giving students plastic buckets with shovels to take

home. We will include a “bucket list” for the students. The bucket will also contain discount coupons from

local restaurants and other tourism partners to encourage students and families to get out and see Wakulla

in spring and summer. D. Bardhi to get cost. Event is April 7, 2017.

VI. Adjournment – The meeting was adjourned at 9:42 am. Our next meeting will be on March 9th at 8:30 am at

the Welcome Center.
