Answer to Questions

1. In physically driving by each site in order to produce an appropriate bid, I have been unable to locatesite # 47 which is in wetlands and found on page 60 of the map legend. Do you have suggestions for the best way to locate?

Please see the addendum for a better map and the address of the site. It provides a better understanding of the site to mow.

2. Since the Warren Lift Station will be under construction this winter, will this affect mowing and caretaking?

The construction may affect the number of mowings and caretaking. However, how much will the construction interfere with the mowing is unclear. Therefore, please bid the project as noted in the RFB without the consideration for construction.

3. Can one company bid on both the Mowing Water Utility and the Mowing WMARSS RFBs(Request for Bids)?

Yes

4. What is the City’s Budget for this mowing Request for Bid?

$152,000.00

5. What was the amount of the last contract awarded for this project?

This contract was renewed several times since the original RFB was advertised. The original bid and contract were in the amount of $85,485.00. Since the original bidding in 2016, the number and size of the mowing sites have changed/increased.

6. Are the number and the size of the sites to be mowed in the RFB correct?

Some of the sites have had their mowing area increased in size, and additional mowing sites have been added to the total of sites requiring mowing. Details are noted on the previous pages.
