The �gure on the left depicts a GIS story map of a University in Virginia. The map inventories the buildings that are built to green building speci�ciations

(e.g. LEED). Each building also features an inventory, with a description and photos, of the various green building features.

The �gure on the right depicts an interactive GIS web map. Each icon on the map has various �elds of information. In the example above, the icon indicates

the location of a Low Impact Development (LID) feature on a college campus. When the user clicks on the icon it shows: a description of the feature, a link

to learn more about rain gardens, and has a .jpeg photo attached to show the location.
