1. IntroductionA Virtual Private Server (VPS) is a virtual machine sold as a service. All the VPSes offered by Resello are unmanaged. A VPS runs its own copy of an operating system (OS), and customers may have superuser-level access to that operating system instance, so they can install almost any software that runs on that OS. Our self-managed VPS provides everything you need to support any size and type of hosting busi-ness – instantly. Choose the resources you need and get started in minutes. We’ll set you up with a fully customizable VPS, supercharged with SSD storage and enterprise-class networking equipment. Resello offers numerous VPS images such as Ubuntu, Debian, and centOS and applications such as Joomla!, WordPress and Magento.

2. Create VPS planBefore you can sell VPS plans, you must create plans and set which specifications they use. You do this by following these steps:

1. Log in to your Reseller Area

2. Go to “Products” – “VPS” – “Customer prices”

3. Click on ‘Actions’ – ‘Create plan’

4. Specify the details and click ‘Save’

5. Once you created the plan, you must set a price as well. Click on ‘modify’ at the specific plan:

6. Fill in the details and click ‘Save’ when done

3. Order a VPSAfter you set the specs and pricing for the VPS, you may add a VPS to your customer. Please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Reseller Area

2. Go to “Products” – “VPS” – “Overview”

3. Click on ‘Actions’ and ‘Create instance’

4. Select the customer and click ‘Next’

5. Choose the right VPS and fill in the other details, followed by clicking ‘Create’

6. A confirmation is asked, click ‘Confirm’ if you agree

The VPS is now created and the customer will be able to start using it.

4. VPS actionsA VPS has several actions, that you as a reseller can do, but also your customer can do most of them. A brief overview of all options can be found below.

5. Delete a VPSA VPS can only be deleted, after you stopped it. To stop the VPS and delete it, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Reseller Area

2. Go to “Products” – “VPS” – “Overview”

3. Click on ‘details’ behind the specific VPS

4. Go to ‘Actions’ and choose ‘Stop’

5. Confirm stopping the VPS

6. The VPS will be stopped and the page will be refreshed when finished

7. Then go to ‘Actions’ and click on ‘Delete’

8. Click ‘Confirm’ to delete the VPS

6. Set reseller pricesTo set the pricing for your reseller allowing them to sell the VPS product, you need to following these instructions:

1. Log in to your Reseller Area

2. Go to “Products” – “VPS” – “Reseller prices”

3. Click on ‘Actions’ and ‘Create price list’

4. Fill in all the details and click ‘Save’ when done
