National Volunteer WeekNational Volunteer Week (NVW) is a time to recognize, celebrate and thank Canada’s volunteers. NVW 2017 takes place April 23 - 29.

To help recognize the vital impact and essential contribution of volunteers in our community, City of Vaughan not-for-profit organizations and community groups are invited to nominate their most outstanding volunteer of 2016.

City of VaughanVolunteer Recognition Awards CeremonyThe recipient will receive a letter from the Mayor inviting him or her to an awards ceremony at 7:30pm on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Vaughan City Hall. The letter will be mailed in the first week of April.

The Mayor and Members of Council will present each recipient with a volunteer recognition certificate and a City of Vaughan pin.
