Lay Person Sunday
Once more we will celebrate Lay Person Sunday here at Kings High-way Christian Church on February 23, 2014! It will be a Sunday focused on the celebration of the ministry of all members, especially those who aren't ordained ministers or staff members.
It is a great chance for members of all ages to pause and consider their own unique calling to ministry within our church. So on Lay Person Sunday we will have lay people, like you, leading all parts of our worship services, traditional and contemporary.
There are several ways to participate, saying a prayer, the welcome, the call to worship, the offering invitation, the invitation to join our church, the scripture reading, the children’s moment and even more. Let us take this as a great chance to infuse fresh voices into our worship, develop leadership, and highlight vital ministries within our church.
I hope you feel called and consider participating, if so, please call the church office and talk to Rev. Ellie Bulnes or leave your contact infor-mation for her before Friday February 7, 2014.
Looking forward to hear from you,
Rev. Ellie Bulnes
