From Raelee

I had a great time in Belize! I met so

many amazing people and learned

so much about their culture. I really

enjoyed the VBS we held though. In

the VBS I got to take pictures and

break some stuff it was a lot of fun.

It was really heartwarming to see

children come to close to our Crea-

tor. I really appreciated the fact that

we got to have a good balance be-

tween missions and some fun. We

got to go to a local market and get

some things hand made by the

islanders, but we

also spent hours

going door to

door asking peo-

ple to go to the

outreaches. I

really enjoyed

the trip and I

can’t wait to be

given the oppor-

tunity to go

again!

God’s Power!

Each day while Raelee and I were in San Pedro, Belize we

were blessed to participate in a VBS at Living Word

Church. It was a wonderful outreach to the children of the

island who lived in that particular part of the island. There

were songs, games, crafts, snacks and a story about Jesus

each day. I also got to share God’s Power as I shared the

Gospel Message by doing what I do best, breaking things.

Raelee was right there by my side as we taught the kids.

One day after I spoke a young man of 11 years, named Jamal, came over to

talk with me. He told me that he had an anger problem but wanted to have

God take it away. I prayed with him and told him to call on God’s Power to

help him in those times when the anger began to rise up in him. He said,

“OK.” Then he headed out.

On the last night of our ministry in Belize I found out that Jamal had done

what I told him to do. It went like this: His mom heard him in his room say-

ing something under his breath. She got closer to see what he was saying.

When she got close enough she could hear him saying over and over,

“God’s Power, God’s Power.” So she asked him what he was doing. He told

her what I had told him to do when he was feeling anger rise up in him. At

that moment he did not want to act out on it so he was calling out for God’s

Power. She asked him if it was working and he proclaimed, “YES!”

Jamal had become victorious over what the devil

was trying to use against him. Instead of anger, he

was experiencing the peace in Jesus that passes all

understanding. You can do the same. Instead of

being overcome by your sin, just call on God’s

Power!

buddy, Steve Bol, from Just Foot Soldiers as we

minister to the tens of thousands of riders who will

be there. I am also planning to go to Iowa to do our

Battle Cry Men’s Conference in September and

then go to Texas for a full week of ministry, fol-

lowed by 3 weeks in China where I will teach in an underground Seminary.

I really need your prayers and I would ask that you pray that I can raise up

more financial partners.

God is so good and we are very excited about the opportunities that He is

putting in front of us. Thank you for staying in beside us and thank you for

all of your love and encouragement. Sonya, Raelee and I are so thankful for

each of you. God bless you and remember, I would love the opportunity to

come and minister to your church or group.
