YALE VOLLEYBALL NEWS FALL 2015

Dear Alumnae and Friends, THANK YOU to each of you, as members of the as-sociation you were a huge source of support and a big part of the success for Yale Volleyball last year. You rallied in impressive numbers through the Drive for Elis Challenge and the results were truly impactful. While volleyball did not walk away with the extra $10,000 prize, everyone has so much to be proud of. Including the fact that we increased our giving participation by 14% last year! While the details for this year’s challenge have yet to be announced, we hope we can count on you to renew your support from last year with a gift to the Yale Volleyball Association. Every single gift counts — and we are out to win! Make your gift at giving.yale.edu by pledging a small amount every month or by making a one-time gift. Ally Mendenhall ‘09 married fellow Yalie, Adam Money, in April 2015 Kelly (Cooper) Krone '06 welcomed her second

daughter, Parker Lilly, in May 2015 Anne (Foster-Keddie) Miller '06 is expecting a

son in December 2015 Christy (Paluf) Menzies '06 is expecting her

second child in March 2016 Lauren Burke Kohr '05 welcomed daughter,

Eloise Ray, in June 2015 Aileen (Daly) Dagrosa '01 welcomed her

Greetings from Yale!

As the summer winds

down, preparations for

the upcoming season are

starting to kick into high

gear. But before we get

too far into the fall, I

wanted to give a very

heartfelt thank you to

everyone who participat-

ed in our “Drive for Elis”

campaign by donating.

We nearly tripled our total number of participants, and

doubled our total amount raised. Although we did not

win the extra $10,000, the campaign was a huge suc-

cess and will be of great benefit to the program.

Participation in these efforts, as I’ve written before,

enables us to keep Yale Volleyball moving forward, to

keep providing the Bulldogs with the experiences and

resources necessary in a top volleyball program. We

want to keep seeing Yale Volleyball making head-

lines, and your financial assistance helps us make that

possible.
