My inspiration for this project is “old school” cars, especially the VW beetle, which has been an icon in the motor industry for many years. This was my grandfathers and fathers first car. The VW beetle is the most talked about car in our family, has shared some very special moments. This is a car that I love, so I therefore photograph them in my spare time. I love that each one seems to have a distinct character, which I try to capture in my photographs.
