MIDDLE SCHOOL CORN MAZE Saturday, October 5th

Meet at the church at 4pm. Cost is $14 and includes: corn maze, hay ride, bonfire, smores, giant slide, jump pad, paddle karts and more. Bring additional money for CFA on the way.

HIGH SCHOOL LOCK IN Friday, October 18th 10:00pm - 8:00amJoin us for an all night, no sleep, time of worship, bible study, bonfire, movies, games and all out madness. Bring a favorite snack to share and $5 for pizza and breakfast.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX COLLECTION

The Amazing Journey of a Shoebox Gift begins with you and results in Evangelism, Discipleship and Multiplication. One shoebox can help share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a child, a family, a village. Our goal is to collect 1000 boxes this year.

Beginning Sunday, October 13th, you can pick up a box in the atrium and information on how to pack a shoebox. Shoeboxes are due back on Sunday, November 17th for Shoebox Dedication Sunday.

DEACON ANNOUNCEMENTThe Deacon Selection Committee is in the process of selecting new Deacons for the upcoming year. The mission of the deacon body at FBC is to serve the body of Christ under the leadership and direction of the Pastoral team. Our focus is to extend the reach of our ministerial team in fulfilling the Great Commission and becoming a multi-generational, multi-cultural, mutiplying church. Therefore, the role of Deacon is not to be sought after for personal honor, but rather is to be viewed as a call to greater commitment in holiness and service. The attitude and disposition of a servant is what qualifies one for Deacon selection.

Nomination cards will be sent by mail and available at church. Please be in prayer for God to raise leaders in our church.
