Process of Nurturing Leaders: The Department strives to develop long-term relationships with industries and market the nurtured talents effectively. Students are provided with high-level leads and career pathways that enable them to gain access to a broad range of high-potential Career Opportunities. Even though the department is very young, it has etched a name for itself through its methodology of imparting education, performance, industry alliance and final placement. Top-Notch Faculty Members: Having gained such a high rating and acceptance within a short span of time, we have inducted most distinguished faculty who have worked in premier management institutes in India and abroad. Leaders from the industry also join hands with academicians to foster a high end growth for students. Student Activities: TIG B-School encourages students to take academic/professional initiatives to complement their classroom training with practical applications in the real world. Computing Facilities: The school of management has always believed that information technology forms an integral part of Management. The computer lab is equipped to handle intensive computing applications and is equipped with the latest hardware both for client and server computing. The Wi-Fi infrastructure ensures that each student on campus is able to connect to our digital system. Library: We always believe the library is a seat of learning. The library has a good collection of books, journals and electronic materials. Dr. Amit Kundu Dean - School of Management Techno India Group School of Management PRISM Promoting Innovations in Individuals Start-ups and MSME (PRISM) is the erstwhile Technopreneur Promotion Programme (TePP). It is an initiative of Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India to transform an individual innovator into a successful Technopreneur by promoting, supporting, funding untapped creativity of individual innovators. Team HR-03 for PRISM comprising of three 3rd year students – Naseem Ahmad (Team Captain) (ECE), Astha Gupta (ECE) and Sukalyan Saha (AEIE). Their Electronic Start-up name is X-spark. The team came up with a proposal to transform the lives of 10 million people using human weight/pressure, which is used to generate electricity. “Our project X-SPARK is the new future of generating electricity for the whole world. The best part of our project is that we are not consuming any type of natural resources to generate electricity. It is totally green and renewable energy.” X-SPARK’s motto is to develop a sustainable, scalable, fast-growing social enterprise that harnesses the power of energy to transform the lives of 10 million people by 2025. X-Spark also secured 1st position in HULT PRIZE 2018 for the successful startup idea. Their project got global recognition and appreciation from the international Hult Prize committee. Team HR-03 attended Hult Prize Regional Finals in March 2018 at Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and NSEC got global exposure. Seminar on Security in SDF/NFV and 5G networks Opportunities & Challenges IEEE EDS NSEC Student Branch Chapter in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a one day seminar on ‘Security in SDF/NFV and 5G networks-Opportunities and Challenges’ on 4th August, 2018. Prof. Ashutosh Dutta, Senior Wireless Communication Systems Research Scientist at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Labs (JHU/APL) presented his valuable lecture on the aforementioned topic. Prof. Dutta holds the respectable positions of Director of Industry Outreach and IEEE 5G Initiative Co-chair apart from being an eminent Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE ComSoc. Aneek Banerjee ECE 2nd Year CodeChef Coding competition An online Coding Competition under CodeChef was hosted by NSEC. 44 students from NSEC participated in the competition. CodeChef was created as a platform to help programmers make it big in the world of algorithms, computer programming and programming contests. At CodeChef we work hard to revive the geek in you by hosting a programming contest at the start of the month and another smaller programming challenge in the middle of the month. We also aim to conduct training sessions and discussions related to algorithms, binary search, technicalities like array size and the likes. Apart from providing a platform for programming competitions, CodeChef also has various algorithm tutorials and forum discussions to help those who are new to the world of computer programming. EngiNX A 4-member team of one student from IT, two from CSE and one from ECE led by Anubhav Singh (IT) secured the 3rd place in EngiNX finals. EngiNX is a contest on digital technologies hosted by TCS. NSEC recognised by Swayam NPTEL with AA rating for online certfication courses Workshop on Competitive Programming The first Workshop on Competitive Programming has been successful completed. Seminar on Security in SDF/NFV and 5G networks Opportunities &

ChallengesIEEE EDS NSEC Student Branch Chapter in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a one day seminar on ‘Security in SDF/NFV and 5G networks-Opportunities and Challenges’ on 4th August, 2018. Prof. Ashutosh Dutta, Senior Wireless Communication Systems Research Scientist at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Labs (JHU/APL) presented his valuable lecture on the aforementioned topic.
