When you enter the course , youwill see which group you haveresponsibility for. You can use thetools here to communicate withmembers of the group. Click on thegroup name.

A number of options are nowavailable to you. For example, clickon Send Email to email members ofthe group.

Select members of the group youwish to contact (some or all) anduse the arrows to move to therecipients list pane on the right.Add a subject, text and anyattachments. You will also be sent acopy of the email.

You can have a number of sharedspaces for your group, such as ajournal, wiki or blog. This allowsboth you and students to shareideas with the group.

A blog, for example, will allow youand students to addtext, information, images andembed media. Click Create BlogEntry to get started.

You can also view contributions bygroup members by clicking ViewEntries.

You can choose which tools appearas available to students in thegroup. In the Control Panel, clickUsers and Groups > Groups.

Hover your mouse to the right ofthe group name and click the arrowthat appears. Choose Edit from themenu.

You can then select and de-selectthose tools you wish to use andhave accessible to students.
