Viz Content Pilot 5.1.10 Release NotesDate: 2009-06-19

Viz Content Pilot is an enterprise content management; template based editing andcontent delivery control system. With an embedded Oracle database, Viz Content Pilotenables organizations to organize, leverage and deliver their visual assets. Viz ContentPilot's flexible interface can control news, weather, sports, business, 24-hourbroadcasts, talk shows, and game show programming content acrossbroadcast, interactive television, Internet and Wireless Application Protocol moreeffectively than traditional methods of production with greater reliability andconsistency of message.

Upgrading from VCP 4.x

If you are planning on upgrading your VCP from <= VCP 4.x you should contact yourlocal vizrt support so they can advise you on how to proceed. Some features found inVCP 4.x are not available in VCP 5.x. We are working on a upgrade document that willhighlight the differences between the versions.

Upgrading from VCP 5.1.x

When upgrading from VCP Version 5.1.0 to 5.1.7 you should upgrade your databaseschema to the latest version. For VCP versions 5.1.8 and 5.1.9 you do not need toupgrade the database as the latest schema version for those is 5.1.7. Upgrading to5.1.10 requires upgrading the database schema. When upgrading your database,please use the VCPDBA tool.

Version 5.1.10Database

· Oracle 10.2.0.4 is now supported by upgrading the VCP schema using VCPDBA(or installing a new schema). (#12201/#11994)

General

· TVizStringGrid now works with the default text based template saving format(#12082)

Fixed a bug with old style templates playing out differently depending on theuser saving with “Save as New” or “Overwrite”. (#13477)Changed the default image source for maps to isAdvancedCuriousMaps instead ofisCuriousMaps. (#13424)When right-clicking to add a new playlist folder it will now check whether or notyou have clicked on a folder before adding to that folder, or creating a newtop-level folder. (#14296)

VTW

· It was not possible to remove a channel from a category (#13767)· The DATA_TIMEOUT setting under the VIZ section in the inifile will now be

applied to the VizConnection used when importing scenes. (#14929)

VCP

· It is now possible to disable the running of groups in the playlist by issuing amacro called playlists:behavior:set_disable_group_runs <true/false>. (#12520)

Import/export tool will not do any processing when checking and un-checkingtemplates/elements, which previously would seem to hang the application for awhile. The processing is now done when hitting “next”. (#11127)VCP and Template Manager now use the same ordering when displaying variantlist. (#10655)The data list will now show thumbnails for data elements in correct aspect ratio.(#13410)Clicking clear on an image component in a template would cause the applicationto show a message box "Could not find image file: " if the image component wasset to use crop tool. Saving a data element could take a very long time if the data list contained 2000+data elements. Saving a new item caused the data list to be sorted (veryinefficient) multiple times. Version 5.1.9VCP

· When a playlist that is open in a VCP client is deleted from the MSE, VCP willno longer try to store the playlist settings. Storing the settings would causethe playlist entry in MSE to be incorrectly created so if a NCS system latertried to create the same playlist again, you would get an error when openingit in the VCP client (#12572). This bug was introduced in 5.1.8 when fixing#10628.

· The option to add and remove folders on Viz from the Viz-tab in VCP hasbeen removed. (#10721)

· When opening a playlist, selecting a Live Update data element and hitting"take out" or "stop" before hitting start on any of the Live Update dataelements in the list, you would get an access violation error. (#12662)

· The scene name returned for the script variable SCENE_NAME is no longerreporting the scene name for the last opened template, but the actual scenename for the template it is called from. (#12756)

· BUGFIX: The OnActionEvent was not called for Live Update templates basedon ControlObject when playing from an open template. (#12797)

· OnActionEvent will now fire for TakeOut (EventID = 21). (#12797)

· “Save as new” would garble the text on Japanese windows. (#12321)

VTW

· When overwriting a template VTW will now send a master template update tothe MSE.

· Using buffer_put and buffer_send will garble the text on Japanese windows.Introduced a new script function “buffer_put_unicode” that circumvents thisproblem. Instead of writing buffer_put "RENDERER*TREE*1/5*GEOM*TEXT SET" & text5.UTF8Text write buffer_put_unicode"RENDERER*TREE*1/5*GEOM*TEXT SET " & GetUnicodeValue(text5) (#12901)

VTM

· When editing a variant or template scene folder VTM will now send a mastertemplate update to the MSE. (#12828)

Newsroom Component

· Fixed a problem with the vcp parameters setting ‘ax_dont_fetch_thumbnails’.If the setting is true thumbs will only be fetch if the views are in icon-mode(if it's false thumbnails will always be fetched). When this setting is active theviews will also always be set to list-mode on startup (regardless of whichmode was active in the last session). (#12622)

· Fixed a problem with the db setting ‘fetch_max_dataelements’. It will nowfetch the x last elements, instead of x random element. (#12752)

· Fixed a bug in resizing of the embedded preview window (#12718)

VOS

· Fixed some performance issues when using advanced search in largedatabases. (#13067).

Version 5.1.8 General

· The crop tool will now always start with the correct aspect ratio and alsoshow an error message if the image selection is too small. (#10630)

· Fixed a problem with previewing transition logic templates that wasintroduced in 5.1.7. (#10914)

· Fixed that cropping the same non-PNG image multiple times only createdone crop image in total. This meant that the last crop of the image “won”.(#12282)

VCP

· Gui settings for individual playlists will now be stored under the playlistinstead of under /config/playlists/settings (#10628)

· Renaming a concept will now publish new concept name to MSE (#11314)· Template with no variant will no longer show up in VCP (#11567)· Fixed support for Live Update for templates based on ControlObject. The

default handling will now update the MSE data node before executing. Also apilot_command_string node will no longer be created as this caused the MSEto believe the element an old style template (#12029)

· When overwrite of data elements is disabled the library checkbox nowautomatically be cleared when saving (#12231)

· Fixed a bug that caused the “save” button to always be disabled whenopening an existing data element.

· Export/Import tool will now give error message when importing invalid xmlfile (#12177).

· BUGFIX: VCP got a CPU hit when playing a TL-template and then a non-TLtemplate as the scene status monitor would refresh the whole playlist(initialization status) when a VdomChildRemoved event was received and thepath to the node was under one of the handlers used in the playlist. Whengoing from a TL-template to a non-TL template the /state/background nodewill be removed and this triggered the refresh.

· BUGFIX: LiveUpdate data elements in the MSE playlist did not get updatedwhen overwriting the data element.

· Live Preview could crash on exit for some templates. (#12392).· When running or previewing an open template/data element, the commands

could sometimes go to the wrong viz|engine if preview/program channelshad been changed since VCP started (#12250).

· Copying a playlist with “playlist:copy_to_new <name>” did not save thename of the playlist correctly if the name included non-latin1 characters.(#12321)

Newsroom Component

· The extra <mosObj> tag in the mos returned from the iNews function‘Import from plugin’ (vs. the mos returned when dragging directly from theplugin) can be removed by adding the VCP Parameters database setting

“ax_never_include_mosObj_tag”=1· ‘continue’ now works for single layer single state transition logic templates

when previewing. (#10903)· Fixed a bug so that templates using the script function SC_GetStopPoints will

return the correct number of continue points and not just the numberregistered in VTM

· When opening a template and then clicking the back button, the focus willnow be set back to the component that had focus before opening thetemplate (#10326).

· Fixed a bug where VB constant VBCR and/or Chr(13) return no character(#10494).

· Data element list will now only show elements within the selected date range,and never show the elements from "the last 24 hours" (#11870).

· With preview enabled in registry the icons will now be fetched from viz viavizplex. If there is an image-comp on the template with an invalidviz-material/object the fetching of this icon will still timeout after 2sec foreach such icon (#10905).

· Preview of none-controlobject based templates will now update, also whenchanging concept/variant (#11716).

· Added database setting ‘fetch_max_dataelements’ => <number>. If thissetting is applied the Newsroom Component will only fetch the x latestdataelements.

· Fixed a problem that caused the Newsroom Component to ask for the datalist multiple times. This could cause delays on a database with many dataelements and a wide date range set in the client. (#12542)

Thumbnail Generator

· Removed memory leaks. (#11163)· Thumbnail Generator now gives error message and close on invalid database

settings (#12184).VTW

· Fixed a VdomSocketConnection assertion that could appear when going fromdesign mode to run mode, after loading a template with for instanceTVdomCombobox or any other template that requires a vdom connection(#11234).

· ‘Invalid layername’-message will now include the name of the scene with thedesign error (#12191).

· Added DefaultStartTime property to the TTWTemplateInfoControl so that it ispossible to script the start time. (#11882)

VOS

· Fixes a problem occurring when VOS was used from the NewsroomComponent. The search could hang if the user did not move the mouse.(#12193)

VTM· VTM was not able to get more than 32000 bytes from VIZ. This would cause

a problem when trying to view the scene directory tree when editing atemplate. (#12328)

· Fixed a problem that would cause VTM to give you an error message “Aconcept with that name already exists. Please choose a different name”, whenediting an existing concept and saving. (#12389)

Known issues· Upgrading to Oracle db 10.2.0.4 breaks the stored procedure that the MSE

uses to fetch data! (#11994)· Playlist concept and variant columns only shows data for control object

templates. This is fixed for version 5.2. (#7330)· The Back-button in the VCP-playlist has no effect for transition logic

templates. (#8068)· Import may not update concepts with new information (#11310)· The 'playing' color is not applied in the playlist (#12034)· The playlist initializing progress bar may not be showing the correct status

(#11206)· Importing large exports into VCP / VTW can cause the application to hang

(ActiveX). (#12249)· Cannot delete fields that have been dragged into template from exposed

objects list in VTW. (#12293)· There is no way of removing the password from objectstore settings GUI.

Workaround: connect to the oracle DB with sqlplus, and execute this query(#7256):

1. update vcp_parameters set value='' where name='VOS_PASSWORD';commit;

· The preference option "Send open template to preset Viz channel" only worksfor ControlObject based templates. (#9454)

· Using non-unicode components (TTWEdit) with a Latin-1 database(ISO-8859-1) can cause ORA-03127 error messages. Using Latin-1 databaseswith 5.1.x is not supported!

· Using any "Viz|Engine 2.8 pl4" (tested up to hotfix3) with "Local Viz Preview"the engine will crash on first startup, as it does not like to run withoutconsole. To force the console to be displayed at startup set the followingregistry key:

· Data list in ActiveX doesn't refresh when using the arrow keys to navigate inthe template list. (#9727)

· When changing the channel assignment in the playlist and at the same timereceiving an update, the channel drop down might be painted incorrectly.(#9690)

· In VOS advanced search the "search for pictures" and "match whole word"checkboxes have no effect. (#9934 and #10241)

· The ValueChanged events of the TripletEditor component are not scriptable.(#8911)

· Changing the output channel for an item in the playlist that is alreadyinitialized will not affect the initialized status. (#8900)

· Initializing a filtered playlist will also initialize all the other items that havebeen filtered out. The filter only applies to the GUI. (#8901)

· VCP installer does not let you go back from the Oracle Instant Client page.(#7917)

· VCP installer does not find the current user on XP systems so the option"install only for me" lists the computer name instead of user. (#6680)

· Renaming Organization in VOS does not update the list for person. (#10364)· When opening the help file in VCP for the first time, it will display a page

saying "This program cannot display the webpage". Clicking on an item in theContent tab or searching will work fine though. (#10367)

· Deleting items from Export window in VCP can cause access violation.(#10047)

· When initializing a scene that reports errors but finishes loading, VCP willnot show the item as initialized. (#8907)

· When losing the connection to MSE, VCP will show a disconnection messageand allow you to continue working. This will lead to multiple errors if you doany operations in the GUI that tries to access the MSE. (#6182)

· Multi-selecting non-visible components in a VTW template at design time isnot working correctly. (#9906)

· Non-latin template names do no display in the VTW form caption· Copying a template from one concept to another will not copy the thumbnail

or create a new thumbnail automatically. (#8004)· After deleting images from the recycle bin you can sometimes get an error

message if you try to use keyboard shortcuts before selecting a image.(#10560).

· The TTWTableEditor for ControlList plugins is not officially supported in VCP5.1. This will be supported from version 5.2. (#12388)

· If a template has scrollbars when it is saved in VTW it might not displaycorrectly in VCP and the Newsroom Component. Resize the template so that itdoes not have scrollbars when saving. (#9728)

· The embedded live/remote preview in the Newsroom component is onlysupported with a multiplexer. (#12363)

· Objectstore's handling of filename-minus-extension collisions is poor.(#11139)

· Strange behaviour on Alt+Tab in VTW. (#5903)· Fields in Template Wizard disappear out of screen (gets a negative .Left

property value) when clicked if VTW is on non-primary monitor. (#12291)· Tripleteditor 5.1.8 doesn’t register its events correctly. (#12334)· Server side GPI "continue on last taken element" is not configurable from the

Version 5.1.7General

· When pressing enter in the VizWorld clients search field the dialog will nolonger be closed.

· The export and import tool in VCP and VTW could crash on systems withboth a regular Oracle client installed and Oracle instant client. This was dueto multiple oci.dll files being loaded at the same time.

· Fixed a bug in the installer that caused wrong database username andpassword to be written to the .ini files.

· The Oracle Instant Client has been updated from version 10.2.0.1 to10.2.0.4. This fixes some issues, among these problems with missingMSVCR71.dll when running sqlplus.

VCP

· Fixed a bug that caused the focused element in the playlist to change. Thishappened when elements further up in the playlist, from the currentlyfocused element, were deleted.

· Bugfix: The external interface dialog popped up when starting andconnecting VCP to a MSE that did not have a db connection configured, eventhough VCP was started with -nodb.

· Fixed a bug that caused the Export/Import-tool to overwrite existingtemplates with the same name as the import-template.

· Added ‘Animate’ functionality to “Live Preview” in VCP and NewsroomComponent. By default this is only available when connected directly to a VizEngine (not via Viz Multiplexer).

§ Control none-default In Newsroom Component:

· Fixed a bug that would cause VCP to crash if an item was removed from theplaylist while there was no focused node.

· Fixed the bug that made the save dialog pop up when trying to enter thePolish characters “ś” and “Ś” (AltGr+s and AltGr+S)

· Fixed a bug when using the Viz World Client causing non-latin characters tobe entered twice

· Fixed a bug when using the Viz World Client causing non-latin labels to becorrupt when reopening

· Checking the loop column in the playlist did not work. When trying to playthe group, nothing would happen. This fix requires a released version of MSE1.18.x (ticket #9689).

· Initializing a playlist with concept override would not always initialize thecorrect scenes. A relaase version of MSE 1.18.x is required (ticket #8589)

· Moving the last played element in the playlist would freeze the last playedhighlighting on this item (#10069)

· If typing a non-ascii character when the template list or data element list wasfocused, you would not get the correct character in the search box

VOS· No longer looks for VCP_Parameters: Vos_Password only in the pilot schema,

that is, it will now still work if we have a different name on our db schema.· Bugfix: Pressing Add All in the export tab could cause a crash.· Bugfix: searching for only a plus character would cause an error.· Bugfix: Fixed problems with keywords containing non-latin characters.· Bugfix: Import of VOS export files would fail if the date format was different

on the export and import machines (for instance mm.dd.yyyy anddd.mm.yyyy).

· Bugfix: VOS could in some cases export a dummy person that would cause adialog pop-up to occur during import

· Bugfix: Additonial fields and country field was possible to edit after savingchanges to an image.

· The save path list in the settings dialog is now sorted according to the pathname.

· When adding several .png images with alpha key, the thumbnail for onewould get a small version of the last one in the upper left corner.

· Right clicking an image and selecting “Delete selected from bin” would causean access violation if the selected image was not in the bin. #9796

· ' character in person search gave error. #10503· Import of images with similar person names could get mixed up. #10504· Would get an Oracle error (ORA-01795) when importing more than 1000

Newsroom Component

· Fixed a bug that could cause access violations when closing down theNewsroom Component. See: http://qc.borland.com/wc/qcmain.aspx?d=3272.

· Fixed a bug that caused the ActiveX to close after saving a data element. Thisonly happened in ENPS when using the ActiveX in “detached mode”.

· Fixed a hang situation that could appear when closing down the ActiveX afterhaving used VOS.

· Fixed a bug that would in special circumstances cause the deletion ofelements to remove non-selected elements instead of the selected.

· Fixed a bug that occurred if you select a template in the templates list to seeonly the data elements for that template. If you pressed the refresh button forthe data elements, the list showed the data elements for all templates in theconcept.

· Now caches VIZ Icons to the system temp folder.

· Fixed a bug when launching the ActiveX without a proper connect string.

· Embedded preview will now remember size between sessions.

· If both DatePickers are set to “today” datalist will now show elements createdwithin the last 24 hours.

· Hitting Ctrl+Shift+S in template browser mode could cause an accessviolation dialog to appear

· Fixed a problem with previewing AVI files when selecting from VOS.

· Hid the ‘Show’ button in the template list as it did not do anything

· Bugfix: Save shortcut in ActiveX caused problems when inputting accentedcharacters

VTW

· Now correctly refreshes the transition layer scene when selecting “changescene” in the layer list.

· Fixed a problem that prevented the user from correctly testing a single layertransition logic template from VTW. The template had to be saved and testedin VCP before this fix.

· Added checking of layer names on scene import. Layer names must be wordsthat are valid xml names.

· Fixed a crash that could appear when closing down the application.

· Export/Import tool will now launch in VTW.

· .Text on Memo Box did not update correct from script, when set to notvisible

· Searching for templates with non-ascii characters did not work

· If typing a non-ascii character when the template list was focused, you wouldnot get the correct character in the search box

· Template save names can only be 40 characters, this is now checked duringinput, instead of giving an error if a too long save name is given.

· When saving and overwriting an existing template that is using units youwould get a ORA-02291: integrity contraint(PILOT.T_TEMPLATE_SCRIPTS_UNITS_FK) violated, if the script included unitswith capital letters. Workaround in older versions is to make sure that allscript unit names are in lower case. This fixes #10422

Template Manager

· Bugfix: Creating a new concept with non-ansi characters in the name couldcause a crash

ThumbnailGenerator

· Added “-retry <sec>” option. In the event that the TG don’t get theAQ-messages from the database, it will poll for new elements periodical. Thisis default off.

Version 5.1.6VCP

· Fixed access violation that could appear when adding a new profile in theProfile Configuration window.

· Fixed a bug in the playlist that could cause the order of elements within agroup to become incorrect. This was discovered using MOS and item levelcommands/roElementAction, and moving an item to the end of the group.

· Possible fix for assertion failure messages (EAssertionFailed) inVDomSocketDetails.pas

· LiveUpdate templates suppressing the VCP default action/commands are nowcolored correctly when played (turns green).

· Ability to lock the client to a profile added.

§ Inifile setting [SEQUENCER]-> locktoprofile=<PROFILENAME>

· Fixed problem when Concept name contains characters that needs to beescaped in XML. Playing such a template directly from VCP gave errors.

§ Reduced the amount of commands sent when previewing TLtemplates

§ Added ability to request snapshots in PNG format from Viz.VcpParameters setting: ‘ax_preview_img_protocol’ set to PNG

· Fixed a bug in the ActiveX that would cause a crash if the user tried to opena deleted template.

· Fixed a bug in TableEditor that would crash ActiveX when closing a templatecontaining this component.

· Will now be able to browse objects on local Viz|Engine (using the PreviewPortsetting in registry to specify which port to use).

· Fixed a bug in the save-shortcut. With the ‘ax_disable_data_overwrite’setting enabled saving will never overwrite dataelements.

· Added new vcp_parameter setting ax_dont_fetch_thumbnails. If turned on,the activeX will not fetch thumbnails for the templates and data elementswhen in list view mode, only if in “show icons” view. It will also not scale upimages if users ignore the warning when making to small crops.

· Cropped images will be saved as .png images instead of .tga images, reducing thesize of the image files.

· Fixed a utf8 encoding problem that could cause drag operations from theiconlistcontrol (used in VOS search in VCP) to result in a different image/clip/dataelement being dropped than expected. This was due to the internal datastructure being sorted differently from the view in the iconlistcontrol.

· It was not possible to register additional concepts for a TL-template basedon only 1 scene.

· Fix: When registering a transition logic template in a new concept, the MediaSequencer Engine was not automatically updated by the database. This couldlead to problems playing out a template in different concepts unless the MSEwas restarted. VTW will now tell the database to send an update messagewhen a transition logic template is added to a new concept. Please note thatthis fix also requires MSE >= 1.17.0.35045

Newsroom Component

· BUGFIX: Templates created with “formatted text” set in the ControlText-plugin did not work as the data for the text-fields were always blank. Turningoff “formatted text” would solve the problem. This has now been fixed

· If all elements in the data list - in icon view mode - were selected, it wasimpossible to deselect them.

· The start and duration format in the save dialog has been changed to mm:ss

· Template-changes for templates that have been opened now gets picked upby the newsroom component without having to reload the entire plugin.

· Now distinguishes between ctrl+alt and AltGr. This was needed asCtrl+Alt+S is a shortcut for bringing up the save dialog, but AltGr+s is usedin polish to input special characters.

· Fixed a modal deadlock situation in the ActiveX, when using ENPS with ModalUI ActiveX setting set, that could occur when editing a template and clickingan image in the template to bring up the VOS search interface.

· Fixed an access violation that could occur when using VOS from both amodal hosted ActiveX and in the normal non-modal ActiveX area in ENPS. Theaccess violation would appear when trying to open a new template/dataelement. A restart of ENPS was needed to solve the problem.

· Remote Preview: Error messages from the Preview Server will now bepresented to the user. Also, when waiting for preview of a template, thepreview window will now be black instead of showing previous previewedtemplate.

· Templates and elements with names containing special characters will nowalso be shown correctly in thumbnail view mode.

VCP

· It is now possible to specify Viz|World hostname in the preferences menu inVCP.

· It is now possible to specify save path for the crop tool in the preferencesmenu in VCP.

· Added a stop playlist command to MSE playlist pop-up menu, so that usersare now able to turn off a scheduled playlist

· The VCP 4.0 GPI functionality has been moved from the “DB playlist” andmade available through a set of macro commands. This means that you don’tneed to open the “DB playlist” to use local GPI – GPI connected directly to theVCP client machine, for instance on the LPT port. The relevant new macrocommands are:

· Added wrap fixed memo to the Additional palette. This component behaveslike the Unicode memo but it does not add carriage returns to the text wherethe text wraps to a new line when a data element is saved and reopened.

· Using the “Add to alternative concept…” menu would cause an accessviolation the next time the “File->Wizard…” was invoked and a sceneimported. VTW had to be restarted to fix the problem.

VOS

· Removed the help menu item as it did not do anything helpful.

· Image thumbnails are now created when adding new images, also when theimage is not a thumbnail.

· Fixes UTF8 encoding bug when importing/exporting images with øæå in filename.

· Vos import will now check if the file copy operation is successful beforesaving imported images to the DB, and log errors.

· Fixed an encoding problem when selecting a person to be connected to animage.

· Added a save button to the person information tab that is visible only whenin edit mode.

· Renaming of keywords now work correctly.

Template Manager

· BUGFIX: VTM will now skip importing the scene information from VIZ whenediting a variant without changing the scene that is used. It will also skiptransition logic templates as those have to be edited in Template Wizard.

· Fix: When adding a new variant to a control object template, or registering itin a new concept, , VTM will now make sure that the database sends anupdate messages to the MSE. MSE >= 1.17.0.35045 is required as there wasa bug in the MSE preventing it from processing these updates(MASTER_TEMPLATE).

Installer

· Bugfix: Using the Live-snapshot preview could crash the ActiveX when it wasclosed

· Workaround: Live-snapshot preview in INEWS does not work correctly. Created aworkaround so that the preview window is not embedded inside the ActiveX butinstead resides in an external window. This is a manual configuration. Set“ax_force_detached_pvw” to “y” in the VCP_PARAMETERS table.

Database script

· BUGFIX: Mixing ControlObject based VCP 4.x and VCP 5.x data elements andtemplates did not work.

Known issues

· When installing a new version on a system that already has an older versioninstalled, changing the installation directory may not work properly.

· GET_XML_FOR_DATA_ELEMENT now does an outer join on thePLAKAT_DATA_CMD table. Without this fix the MSE would sometimes not get anupdate when overwriting an element.

Template Wizard

· Bugfix: Caption on templates will now show correct name after saving.

· Bugfix: Closing VTW would sometimes cause access violations. In the log file(VizTemplateWizard.elf) file it was reported in TVizEngineDM|DataModuleDestroy

Newsroom component

· Double clicking at the end of the template list, in list mode, caused a streamread error

· CHG: Rewrote the warning messages that appear when a MOS item that is editedis not found in the NCS story (when requesting the story via ncsStorySend) afterthe edit is completed and the item should be updated in the script.

Create thismacro to execute custom actions on startup, like setting global variables etc.New macro vizio:set_router_point for setting a router point on VIZIO.New macro gui:show_pools_ex for setting focus to the VIZ tab, selecting one ofthe pools and specifying the pool path to setNew macros playlist:request_mos_playlist and playlist:release_mos_playlistAdded new macro command for loading templates into VCP without showingthem. To delete an image, you can either drag-and-drop to the recycle bin-imagein the status bar, delete from the popup menu of the image list, or press thedelete-button when focused is on the list. Both way, the image gets grayedout, and a copy ends up in the recycle bin. To view, restore or delete imagespermanently, you can double-click the recycle bin image in the status bar. Anew window showing the contents of the recycle bin will pop up. It is alsopossible to restore and delete images permanently with the popup menu.To delete a person you can either use the delete button or the popup-menu

on the persons list. Persons will be deleted at once, and not first be sent tothe recycle bin.

VOS plug-in and dll modified to enable searching of both images and videos, andadded possibility to specify keywords the image/video must contain to be used ina template. NOTE: Keywords must be duplicated on Ardome server(db2), andVizrt Oracle db to make it possible to specify keywords for a combined element(one that can contain either an image or a video). Keywords that can be selectedfor an element are retrieved from the oracle database. Please note that thevideosearch functionality is not implemented in 5.1 version. This will be availablein 5.2.

Newsroom component/ActiveXAdded a new feature that allows a user to specify a BCS device name.
