Vitrage Virtuel invites students from die Ange-wandte to tamper with what seems to be inside the building of the University. Create illusions, parallel universes, tell stories or make something completely different. This installation is meant to be explored and experimented with. We are looking forward to seeing unusual ways of using this medium.

Ten artists will be selected through an open call competition. Each week a new artist will show-case their works on the facade of the Expositur Vordere Zollamtstrasse of die Angewandte.The artworks will be projected from inside the building into the windows next to the entrance.

The project is initiated by neues etwas and fund-ed by the University of Applied Arts, Vienna and the HUFAK - Students Union University of ap-plied Arts.

ABOUT

What: Call for Projects: Vitrage Virtuel. Animations, Mo-tion Graphics and Visual Artworks in digital form will be projected on the windows of the Expositur Vordere Zollamtstrasse during 10 weeks. Ten submissions will be selected and each work will be displayed for one week, every evening from sunset till 10 pm.

Where: Expositur Vordere Zollamtstr. 3. On the two win-dows next to the main door. Because of the ren-ovation works at die Angewandte, the location might be subject to changes.

When:There will be an offi cial opening on the 22 Octo-ber during the OPEN HOUSE day, where all se-lected works will be projected. Every Tuesday a new work will be presented, and will be displayed only on workdays until upcoming Tuesday.

How:Send us a link to your portfolio, some samples of your work or a project you want to see projected onto a faade of die angewandte; to: vitragevirtuel@gmail.com. Last date: 15 September 2015.We will inform the selected artists. Finished works have to be submitted until 10 October 2015.

Who:Individual students of die Angewandte can apply. Collectives are also welcomed to submit their work as long as at least one of the members is a student at die Angewandte.

Bear in mind that the works will be displayed in public space, the content has to be suitable for all age groups.
