You are here
Welcome to Titanic Quarter
You’re in Belfast, the city that launched Titanic, the
biggest, most luxurious, and most advanced ship of its
day. And you’re about to enter Titanic Quarter, where
she was designed, engineered and built, and from
where she set sail in 1912, cheered on by 100,000
spectators.
Your adventure starts at Titanic Belfast, the world-class
visitor attraction and events venue. Be prepared for a
voyage through time and experience, through triumph
and tragedy. Using the very latest technology, its nine
galleries will bring the sights, sounds...even the smells
of the Harland & Wolff shipyard...and its most famous
creation, Titanic...back to life.
And there’s more. Visit the beautifully restored SS
Nomadic, the last remaining vessel with a link to
Titanic, and the only ship from the White Star Line that’s
still afloat. Walk along the slipways where Titanic and
her sister ships were built, and gaze into the vast
Thompson Graving Dock where she was fitted out before
leaving the city of her birth forever.
