The Santa Clarita Tourism Bureau is a membership-based organization comprised of local and regional companies dedicated to the continued development of Santa Clarita as a tourist destination. The Bureau’s objectives include: building brand-awareness for Santa Clarita in targeted local, regional, national and international markets; identifying unique events, festivals and attractions that will encourage repeat visits; working hand-in-hand with members to create partnerships to strengthen existing businesses, attract new businesses and provide a forum for networking and collaborations. The Santa Clarita Tourism Bureau is committed to providing members with the following services and opportunities to help make the most of membership:
Membership Meetings: The Tourism Bureau meets regularly each month to exchange business leads, brainstorm, build a network of business contacts, review partner opportunities and discuss local happenings, events and news. These meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of each month. Locations alternate between City Hall and at Tourism Bureau Partner locations, thus increasing awareness of each member’s distinct offerings.
Website: All Bureau members receive a complimentary listing and link from the City’s tourism
website, VisitSantaClarita.com, which receives thousands of visits per month. Hotels and attractions also have the opportunity to be featured on the website’s booking engine. Tourism Bureau business descriptions and special offers can be updated at any time.
Newsletter: The Tourism office publishes a bi-monthly electronic newsletter sent to visitors who
have visited/expressed interest in the area (garnered via online email signup) highlighting applicable news about, special events, community happenings and attractions, packages and seasonal opportunities. Members are invited to submit news for review and consideration.
Annual Visitor Guide: All members have the opportunity for key placement in the Santa Clarita Visitor’s Guide, a lifestyle publication available at member businesses, the Tourism Office, City Hall, Six Flags Magic Mountain and at key hotels throughout the area. The annual Visitor Guide is a key component of the tourism package sent to travelers interested in visiting Santa Clarita and is distributed at various special events and trade shows throughout the year.
Rack Cards: Rack cards are created and distributed to highlight Santa Clarita and our distinct
offerings, including accommodations, attractions and seasonal events. Cards are made available to members for distribution and are also available at the Tourism Office (located at City Hall), at the California Welcome Center, at key airports, hotels and tourist destinations in Southern California.

Joint Promotions/Advertising Opportunities: The Tourism Bureau offers members opportunities for joint promotions and co-operative marketing opportunities. Members make recommendations regarding appropriate travel trade shows, advertising co-ops and partnerships with local businesses and organizations. (Co-Ops may include Ad placement online, in travel publications, visitor guides and participation at trade shows)
