I can remember being around 5 years old and falling in love with (Disney’s) Cinderella for the first time. My Aunt Loretta had a big (and super bulky) TV and what seemed to be an endless collection of VHS tapes. Cinderella became my all-time favorite and 30 years later, it still is. Somehow, the Rodgers and Hammerstein version was never a musical on my list of ones to consider. Not until October. And, in the midst of everything, the thought just laid itself in my lap. Transformation. What a beautiful thing. This is such a lovely story. It’s timeless, magical, hopeful … and this version adds just the right touch of humor. Once the show entered my mind, there was no question it would be a perfect fit (see what I did there?)! Even at the callbacks, the energy was infectious and exciting and it has lasted throughout the last several weeks of bringing the show together. I’m thrilled to have worked with such an awesome cast, crew, parent group, directing staff … and simply the very best people for this beautiful show.

Last year, we had an exceptional group of seniors. The kind of group where people say, “What will you do next year?” and I never worry. Year after year, we have the best crop of kids. Our senior class this year is small, but they sure are mighty … and hardworking, kind, brilliant, funny, dedicated, unforgettable! Many of them have been involved since their freshmen year, while some are on their very first (and LAST) T-Time main stage production!

These students, combined with the rest of the cast and crew have brought an insane amount of talent, skill, focus and determination to this production. It’s incredible to watch these students in action: performing gorgeous dance numbers, creating stunning lighting, designing set pieces, completing a 13 second costume change, orchestrating rapid scene changes, singing beautiful music, flying … they have taken this show and brought it to a whole new level with their own work, drive, and talent!

This group of people is pure magic. I’m grateful to be a part of all of this.

Along with everyone who had a hand in bringing this show together, we are excited to share it with you! We had you in mind when creating this show and all of its elements. There’s definitely a little magic, lots of glitter, and moments that have wowed us day after day in rehearsal. We hope you enjoy this as much as we have. Sit back, relax, and enjoy.

To my mom and for my mom … She’d be thrilled with this show.
