Quality AssuranceWe will ensure that your group getsthe very best from a visit to thiswonderful place of Christian prayerand worship. We hope this bookletwill be useful to you as you plan your visit.

The Cathedral is an extremelyfamous and busy place, in fact it isoften described as ‘the Nation’sChurch’. It is also the ‘MotherChurch’ for the Diocese of London,the seat of the Bishop of Londonand as such is a centre of prayer andworship for the people of the cityand its surrounding boroughs. It isalso used as a venue for concerts, productions andcelebrations of all kinds.

Most of all it is your Cathedral! So we want you to have a great timehere. It is therefore vital that youplan your visit carefully. We will helpyou with this, but booking (preferablywell in advance) is essential.

Lunches and RefreshmentsWe may be able to provideclassroom space for morning groupsto eat packed lunches, although thiscannot be guaranteed. You mayhowever eat lunches in the Crypt,on the bench seats there. Pleaseindicate on your booking form ifyou wish to have lunch here. Thereis also a café in the Crypt but you

must inform them in advance if youwish to take a class sized group inthere. It does tend to get very busyand may therefore be unsuitable forlarger groups.

I hope that you will find all theanswers to your questions in thisbooklet. Please take time to read itcarefully – you may be surprised bythe range of things you can do here!Our visits span many curriculum areas.

Getting started…You can make a preliminary booking at this initial enquiry stage. This will bepencilled into the diary. You will be sent a booking form which must becompleted as soon as possible and returned to us. Dates are in great demand,so if we have not received your form within two weeks (during term time) thebooking will be cancelled automatically.

Confirmation When we have received your booking form, you will receive a letter from usconfirming all the details. You will be invoiced according to the informationgiven on the booking form and we do ask for payment in advance please. Youwill also receive a map, a ‘School Pass’ to present at the Crypt till when youarrive, and any other materials that you have requested on your booking form.

PaymentPlease see enclosed price list.

You will be sent an invoice with your booking confirmation. Please arrange forpayment to be made as soon as possible. Cheques should be made payableto ‘Dean and Chapter’.

CancellationsShould you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon aspossible, even if you have only made a preliminary booking. Cancellations ofguided visits must be made at least four weeks before the visit, otherwise weregret that full payment will be required.

An experiential trail with optional Signs and Symbolsworkshop to enhance your Christianity/Places of Worship units.Trail includes:• Furniture and objects (altar, lectern, cross, pulpit)• Prayer, candles, icons. • Symbols (actions/pictures & sculptures, objects, water, light) and what

they mean to Christians.• Vestments, bread & wine (Holy Communion).• Prayer/services of worship in a Christian place of worship (e.g. the Font

and Baptism, Evensong).• Music/Choir and Mosaics (NEW binoculars to view the ceiling designs!).• Meet a Priest and find out about his/her work and vocation. (Subject to

Bible Alive!

AIM OF THE VISIT:This interactive trail around theCathedral aims to bring aliveChristianity’s special holy book.Children will explore why it isstill valued by Christiansworldwide. This visit is closelylinked to R.E. study units in theNational Framework (story –why are some stories/sacredtexts important in religion?/teachings and authority/inspirational figures forbelievers/ symbolism/prayerand worship). There is alsoscope for many cross curricularlinks back in school, especiallywith English.

If you are comparing Islam/Judaism and Christianity therewill be many links/ comparisonsyou can make afterwards withthe Torah and the Koran.

DURATION:This visit lasts for 90 minutes(see price list). Allow an extra45 minutes after this if youwould like to take your groupto the Dome/ Galleries.

KEY STAGE SUITABILITY:Suitable for KS1, year 2upwards and the whole of KS2

After a short introduction children will discover stories from both the Oldand New Testaments as they are brought to life through story telling, dramaand discussion.

• The Books of the Bible Bop – learn the rhyme and sing your waythrough’ the books in order! What a mammoth library of books there isin there!

• Find out about lots of different types of Bibles and the story of MaryJones, the Welsh girl who helped bring the Bible alive to millions acrossthe world.

• Cracking Creation! The wonderful poetry of the first chapters of Genesisin the Old Testament is revealed whilst the children use their binocularsto see the story depicted in our wonderful ceiling mosaics in the QUIRE.

• Jesus the Master Story Teller – a man with a message! They take a lookat a Parable, a Miracle from the Gospels and have an opportunity tounpack the symbolism of the amazing painting ‘The Light of the World’by William Holman Hunt.

• Words, Riddles and Perfect Poetry! As they experience the many beautifulareas of the Cathedral the children listen to the poetry of the OldTestament Psalms, and grapple with ‘words of wisdom’ from the Book ofProverbs. Could these have meaning for us in today’s modern world?

• Discover a little of the letters written by St Paul in the New Testament.He is the Patron Saint of this Cathedral – a brave man who travelled farto take the Gospel message to many countries.

AIM OF THE VISIT:This is an action packedguided trail around theCathedral that linksparticularly with Science(materials and theirproperties/design/creatures/the natural world), R.E.(Christianity – belonging to afaith community/prayer andworship/awe, wonder andSpiritual Development), Art and P.S.E./Cultural/MoralEducation for KS1&2.

DURATION:It lasts for 75 minutes. Allow an extra 45 minutesafterwards if you would liketo visit the Dome/Galleries.(See price list for details).

Ideal for KS1 – year 1 andabove and the whole of KS2

In a short introduction the children will be encouraged to ‘delve’ into ourmysterious bag to discover a variety of materials (stone, wood, glass, metal,water), both natural and man made. • They will think about their uses in every day life. • They will think about mini beasts, could a place like St Paul’s be a home

for such tiny creatures? Where would they live?• They will look at and handle artefacts made from the same materials and

talk about how they might be used by Christians in theirchurches/homes for worship and prayer (e.g. crosses, vessels, sculptures,art, prayer beads, Icons etc).

On their walk around the Cathedral they will then discover how many ofthose materials have been used in the design, building, furnishing anddecoration of this magnificent building. They will be encouraged to use all theirsenses as they walk around.

They will:• Visit the Font and assist with a re-enactment of a Baptism using water.• Look at and feel textures of stone, wood, metal, look for Lecterns, Altars,

candles, crosses etc that are made of these materials.• Look at patterns, shapes, mosaics, design. Spot the ceiling mosaics using

our binoculars!• They will be given the opportunity to experience the awe and wonder of

the Cathedral and think about how its lay out and contents might helpChristians to pray and worship.

• People matter and so does our planet – they will to encouraged to thinkabout the people who work at St Paul’s. Do Christians believe they havea duty to care for the world, its creatures, nature and each other?

• They will be reminded about special people for Christians who areremembered/worshipped here (Jesus, Mary, St Paul and other famouspeople throughout history).

Meet the StarsKey figures in the Christian faith

AIM OF THE VISIT:Linked to NationalFramework for R.E.Christianity Study Units –themes for KS.2: InspirationalPeople, EncounteringReligion through visiting aplace of worship, humanexperience and feelings,insight into the meaning,purpose of life, the Bible as asacred text for Christians.This visit aims to assist you inenhancing the content ofyour Christianity/R.E. work.

You can also use this visit tohelp with comparing andcontrasting different worldfaiths. Key figures/stories/sacred texts/statues andspecial places for worshipand prayer are important infaiths such as Islam,Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism.

DURATION:It lasts for 1 hour. Allow anextra 45 minutes after this ifyou would like to visit theDome/Galleries. (See pricelist for details)

KEY STAGE SUITABILITY:KS. 2 – year 3 and above

The children will meet some key figures from the New Testamentas they journey around the Cathedral:St Paul – The Saint after whom the Cathedral was named. He tells of hisamazing, dangerous journeys and how his life changed when he became afollower of Jesus.

St Mary – who tells them her story about how she found out she was to bethe Mother of Jesus, how Jesus grew up in Nazareth, and what happened onthe first Easter.

Jesus – his teaching and events from the Bible that are still rememberedthroughout the world! Do they have relevance in today’s modern society?

• The children will also discover how and why the Cathedral is used forworship and prayer by Christians and people of many cultures and faithsfrom all over the world, as well as being ‘The Nation’s Church’.

• There will be opportunities for them to look at, reflect on and thinkabout the many beautiful paintings, mosaics and sculptures. They will begiven space to ‘wonder’ at the size and majesty of the Dome, Nave andQuire.

• They will think about why Sir Christopher Wren designed this ‘palacelike’ Cathedral the way he did – a palace fit for a special king.

• They will look at representations of Jesus, Mary and St Paul in Icons,sculptures and paintings and think about how such objects might helpChristians to think and pray.

AIM OF THE VISIT:To discover, observe andrespond to the amazingexamples of art and designin the Cathedral.

DURATION:75 minutes.

If you would like to add on astained glass windowdesign/foam mosaic designworkshop in the classroom– allow an extra 45 minutesand please indicate thiswhen you book.

Allow an extra 45 minutesafterwards if you wish to visitthe Dome/Galleries.

KEY STAGE SUITABILITY:Ideal for K.S. 2. especiallyyears 5/6.

This is a ‘hands on’ visit that will enable children to:• Discover, observe and respond to the amazing examples of art and

design in the Cathedral. It links with your R.E. Christianity units –especially Signs & Symbols, Christian Places of Worship,objects/Icons/candles used for prayer, decorations, wood carvings,mosaics and images that tell the Christian story.

It links to Art and the children will see many examples of Christian art. There arealso innumerable cross curricular opportunities that could stem from this visitsuch as: creative writing, poetry. The design and building of this great Cathedralby Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London will also be covered.

• They will be taken on an experiential walk around the Cathedral. Therewill be time to stop, look, think, discuss, hear the stories associated withplaces, objects, paintings etc.

• They will get an opportunity to make their own sketches/record theirown thoughts and feelings on activity sheets we provide. Bring yourown pencils please (and clipboards if you wish).

• They will be shown lots of examples of images of Jesus from around theworld and will be encouraged to think about how Jesus might have reallylooked. They will see an Icon from the Orthodox tradition and thinkabout how Icons are believed to be true representations of Jesus byOrthodox Christians.

• They will think about how lighting candles in special places nearpaintings/Icons might help Christians and others to pray/think deeply.

• There will also be a chance to view the wonderful ceiling mosaics in theQuire that tell the story of Creation from the Old Testament.

Let’s Investigate Easter!

AIM OF THE VISIT:This action packed visit willbring alive the festival ofEaster. It is available all yearround, but is especiallypoignant during Lent, in thelead up to Easter.

DURATION:This visit lasts for 75 minutes,plus an extra 45 minutes foryour craft workshop.

Allow an extra 45 minutesafterwards if you wish to visitthe Dome and Galleries.(See price list for details).

KEY STAGE SUITABILITY:Ideal for Upper KS. 1 andthe whole of KS. 2

The Paschal Candle

In a short introductory session the children will look at objects and images tohelp them identify why this is such an important festival for Christians. Theywill think about Lent, beginning with Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday.Theywill find out about Lenten/Easter customs around the world.

In the Cathedral the Easter story will unfold:• Palm Sunday – the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey like a King!• The Passover Feast that turned into a rather strange meal – re-enact the Last

Supper.• Good Friday – the powerful symbols of the wooden cross and nails will

help tell the story of Jesus’ walk to Calvary for the Crucifixion• Resurrection News!The most amazing Sunday morning ever.• A short time of reflection as children are invited to think about how

Christians all over the world still follow Jesus and believe in this story. • Space to light a candle (optional, a great opportunity for spiritual

development that is appropriate for all faiths/backgrounds). • This is an opportunity for children to reflect on why buildings like St

Paul’s were created and what they are here for today.

Added extraYou may wish to book an Easter Crafts Activity workshop in our classroomafter the Cathedral activities end. • the children make symbols of Easter (egg designs/book marks, Easter

baskets).

The perfect way to bring the Festival of Christmas alive.

Not only is this a great way to launch your Advent and Christmas activities, italso offers the opportunity to explore key R.E. themes such as: The Bible, KeyFigures in the Christian Faith, Christian Beliefs and Practices, SpiritualDevelopment. The interactive activities will also enable you to follow up withEnglish/Drama/Art work back in school.

As an added bonus the children also get to experience all that the Cathedral hasto offer in terms of its amazing design, beauty and décor!

• In a short introduction they will explore the season of Advent, the timeof preparation across the world for the great festival, the symboliccolours in the Church’s year and Advent customs in homes andchurches.

• The journey will then begin! In various areas of the Cathedral they will meetcharacters from the Christmas story such as Mary, Joseph, a shepherd.

• Each character will share with the children the wonder of that specialnight as they made their way to Bethlehem and experienced the birth ofthe Christ Child.

A Cathedral at War – the Blitz

‘The Cathedral must be saved, at all costs!’ this was the message given to theLondon Fire Brigade over the telephone during the Blitz by Sir WinstonChurchill, Prime Minister.

Our experiential trail will enhance your teaching of this popular World War11 History topic. The trail also encompasses the discovery of the Cathedralas a place of beauty, remembrance and prayer, so there are obvious linkswith your R.E. Christianity units on places of worship/communities. It willalso enhance your spiritual development work.

• The children will be met by a member of the St Paul’s W.W. 11 FireWatch who saved the Cathedral from incendiary bombs during the Blitz.

• He will take them on a trail around the building including a climb up intothe Triforium where they will assist him in putting out a fictitious fire andlearn the fire watch drill.

• They will find out about what it would have been like as a child growingup in London during the war.

• The fire watcher’s wife will tell them all about evacuation, gas masks,food rationing, poor living conditions in the East End.

• A lucky volunteer can put on the cap, the jacket, the label and the gasmask and prepare to leave his/her family behind as they catch a train tohead for the countryside!

• They will see the places in St Paul’s where large bombs actually fell andcaused much damage.

• The visit ends with a special time of quiet reflection and the lighting of acandle as they are encouraged to think about how this special Cathedralis still an important symbol of stability and sanctuary for the people ofBritain and around the world, as well as a place that offers prayers forpeace in the world every day.

• Do we have a part to play in striving for peace in our daily lives/in theworld? Thought provoking questions will be raised in an ‘age appropriate’manner at the end of this visit – a great PSE link!

Where the fire began The children will walk around the building. The Crypt and Cathedral floorhouse some amazing statues that survived the Great Fire. There is also amodel of the old Cathedral that stood on this very site at that time – theone that Londoners saw go up in smoke!

• Children are reminded of how the fire started in Pudding Lane and howit spread.

• With the aid of simple costumes, simple role play and a leather bucketthey are taken back in time to life in London in 1666.

• What must it have been like to experience the raging fire destroyinghomes and businesses?

• How did Londoners try to put out the fire?• They will discover how the King and Church leaders desperately wanted

Creating a mosaic design

Our wonderful mosaic designs on the Quire ceiling and on the floorof the Crypt are a unique feature of this Cathedral. The ceilingmosaics in particular, dating back to the Victorian era, broughtlavish colour and décor to the building. They also tell the Bible storyof Creation in the book of Genesis.

This interactive visit will enable children to discover these wonderful designsand will give them an awe inspiring experience of the Cathedral as a place ofbeauty, prayer and worship.

This is a cross curricular visit that links superbly with your R.E. Christianity units,History, Art, Spiritual Development. If you have been looking at worship inIslamic mosques or Hindu temples for example, this is a great way ofcomparing how some Christian churches can also be made decorative andbeautiful to reflect the glory of God and to teach the story of the faith tobelievers.

Christianity units.• Queen Victoria visited St Paul’s during her reign and there are many

famous people of that era who are remembered here.• The children will meet Florence Nightingale in the Crypt, by

her memorial. She will tell them of her privileged upbringing /educationand how she went against her parents’ wishes when she decided to trainas a nurse.

• Florence will take the children to see Wren’s grave and other areas ofinterest/beauty in the Cathedral, including the dome area where theyhear of the days when Queen Victoria visited. They will also see thefamous ‘Light of the World’ painting.

• They will think about what life would have been like for both rich andpoor in Victorian times and what it was like living and growing up inLondon.

Time for School!Our very own Victorian school teacher will then take the children into ourclassroom for a Victorian classroom experience. (This will be fun and should notbe feared!)

It includes slates, copy writing, rote learning, moral verses, drill exercises and ataste of Victorian classroom punishments – the ‘sit straight back board’, fingerrings and dunce’s cap for those who misbehave, including of course theteacher’s cane!

CostumesThis is a captivating experience not to be missed! And the grand finale is …our very own St Paul’s Victorian fashion parade. 8-10 lucky children will get theopportunity to dress in Victorian under wear, gowns and suits (examples of richand poor clothing). Reflective story telling uses a specific style and technique. Ourstories will be led by trained reflective story tellers using objects,cloth and wooden figures to represent characters.

The story is told quietly as the children gather round. They are then invitedto ponder on meanings and to explore their own thoughts about the story.The stories take place in the Crypt and classroom.

They will also get chance to explore the Cathedral and experience thedécor, furnishings, quiet areas to light candles, font, Quire etc.

All the activities will be pitched and arranged so that there will lotsof material you can use back in the classroom to write stories,creative, descriptive pieces and poetry.

There are many links with your R.E. Christianity/places of worship work andwith Art and History.

During their walk around the cathedral children will be encouraged torespond verbally and in written format to objects, sculpture, art and specialareas, such as the area under the Dome and the Quire.

• Vocabulary lists will be given to the children in certain places to enablethem to choose words that might best express their thoughts andfeelings.

• They will be encouraged to discuss their reactions and thoughts tocertain objects/areas.

• They will be asked to write down their own phrases and adjectives (itwould be good to bring note books).

• They will listen to poems and to some of the Genesis creation story asthey gaze at the ceiling mosaics in the Quire.

• They will be given a short amount of time to look carefully at certainobjects and to respond to them.

• They will find out about some of the famous writers who areremembered in the Cathedral such as: John Donne, poet.

SupervisionYou will be required to escort your pupils to the Whispering Gallery plus theexternal Stone and Golden Galleries. Our staff do not accompany you on theclimb. Groups must have at least 1 adult to every 10 pupils. If you do nothave enough adults prepared to climb we regret that the group will not beallowed up.

Be prepared!There are over 500 shallow steps to climb. Most children of all ages climb toall areas without problems. Should anyone in your group be nervous/sufferfrom vertigo/mobility problems please ensure that adults are available toremain with them in the Cathedral whilst the others go up.

Please refer to the risk assessment advice in this booklet. If you would like to doa pre-visit familiarisation tour do give us a call so that we can arrange this for you.

Due to fire regulations, we regret there is no lift available. The lift may onlybe used to enable those with special needs to access the Crypt andCathedral floor.

In the new ‘Oculus’ visitor centre (Crypt), there is an amazing ‘Virtual Climb’ filmthat may be viewed by those who are unable to do the real thing!

How long will it take?Please allow about 45 minutes for the return climb. This needs to be plannedin addition to the time you have allowed for your guided visit/workshop.

Schools intending to take pupils up to the Dome and Galleries should beaware that there are over one hundred stairs to climb to the WhisperingGallery alone. Pupils and adults who suffer from breathing difficulties, suchas asthma, climb these stairs at their own risk. St. Paul’s Cathedral advisesthat schools obtain parental consent.

Teachers/leaders should make all in their groups aware, that in order to ensurethe safety of all those ascending to these areas, it is not possible to turn roundonce climbing has commenced. Stopping on the narrow staircases will causelong queues of people behind and is dangerous.

This risk assessment advice is offered to assist teachers/leaders withplanning their visit to St. Paul’s Cathedral. It is strongly recommended thatthe member of staff organising the visit makes a prep/familiarisation visitto the Cathedral in order to carry out their own risk assessment. Thisshould include the journey to and from the Cathedral. Risk Assessments areyour responsibility, this is merely our advice to you.

We advise that those intending to take pupils up to the Domeand Galleries should informparents or guardians of the risks associated with the climband obtain parental permission to take pupils to these areas inadvance of the visit.

Fire In the event of fire/alarm, Cathedral staff will direct all visitors to thenearest safe exit. Teachers are responsible for doing a roll-call of theirpupils once they are in a safe place. Should any person not beaccounted for, Cathedral staff should be informed immediately.

Staircases are minimal in length and well lit. Children should bereminded by teaching staff to take care and to look where they arewalking/hold rails, keep to the right

All school groups climbing to the Dome and Galleries are expected to have one staff member to every ten pupils. Brief helpers in advanceand advise them to spread out evenly along the line. Insist on sensible,calm behaviour throughout.

Asthmaattacks/vertigo

The climb to the Dome and Galleries is long and steep in places.Schools are advised to make this known to parents and seek medicalopinion/consent in advance, if there are concerns.

Tripping on staircases

School groups are advised to walk in single file and children arereminded by guides to take care. There are hand rails. Stairs from theGolden Gallery can be slippery in wet weather and teachers should tellchildren to take extra care in this area.

Falling from a height

The barriers/railings around the galleries are tall. Stewards arepositioned on each gallery and have two way radios. Children are asked to sit on the stone bench whilst in the Whispering Gallery andteachers should tell them not to lean over the barriers around any of the galleries.

These guidelines are set outfor your enjoyment and safety– please read them carefully.Please provide allaccompanying adults with acopy and read through it withthem in advance of your visit.

It is extremely helpful to us ifyou arrange, in advance, howyour group will be divided intosmaller working groups onarrival at the Cathedral. Time isprecious on the day!

Guidelines for Visiting Schools

Helpful reminders:• Please telephone the Schools & Families Department if you know you are

going to be late: 020 7246 8353. Booked groups who arrive more than halfan hour late may miss their guided visit.

• Behaviour St. Paul’s is first and foremost a place of prayer and worship. Wetherefore ask that all are respectful and quiet whilst in the building. Pleaseremind pupils about ‘appropriate’ behaviour before you come and re-iterate thisthroughout the visit. Groups causing a disturbance will be asked to leave theCathedral.

• Photography is not allowed in the Cathedral except on the external galleries.This includes camera phones. Please tell your pupils.

• It is traditional in Christian churches for men and boys to remove theirhats/caps (unless there is some medical/religious reason).

• Prayers are said ‘on the hour’ in the Cathedral and groups are asked torespect this practice and to be still and quiet for about five minutes. You arewelcome to join in with the Lord’s Prayer when it is said at that time. Thereis a Holy Communion service at 12.30 p.m. under the Dome, so pleasebear this in mind if you are self-guiding at this time.

• School staff and accompanying adults remain responsible for the welfareand behaviour of students throughout their visit to the Cathedral.Should there be an accident/health incident, please contact a stewardwearing a wearing a dark blazer plus badge, a guide wearing a red sash oryour schools dept. guide.

St Paul’s is a busy place!Please make all aware before the visit that you are coming to a famous andbusy place. There will be many other tour groups and visitors exploring thebuilding whilst you are there.

It is therefore imperative that you plan the visit carefully, brief all your adulthelpers and the children themselves. We want you to have a great timewith us and thorough preparation reaps benefits!

What can you see from the Dome?The Whispering Gallery gives a view of the interiorof the Cathedral, as well as providing an opportunityto try out its acoustic properties. Further up, you cansee the view over London from the Stone Galleryand Golden Gallery.

Where can we eat lunch?If you have booked with the Schools & FamiliesDepartment you may be able to use the SchoolsCentre for lunch (groups of 60 max). There are gardensto the north, east and south of the Cathedral. If theweather is wet, it may be possible for your group to eatin the Crypt. Groups on guided visits are not charged touse the room for lunch. Self-guided groups are charged£10 per group, but priority is given to guided groups.

Is there somewhere to leave our bags during the visit?Schools having guided tours may leave their bags inthe Schools Centre. It may be possible for self-guided groups to use this facility but please contactus in advance to arrange access.

Is there a shop?Yes. The Cathedral Crypt shop stocks a full range ofpostcards and gifts. Alternatively, groups can order giftbags from the Schools & Families Department whichyou collect on departure. Ask for information.

Where should we come when we arrive?See your confirmation letter. Enter via crypt.

What facilities do you have for those with Special Needs?The Schools Centre is wheelchair accessible, as is theCrypt and Cathedral floor. We regret that it is notpossible to take wheelchairs, or people with walkingdifficulties up to the galleries as there is no public lift.

You may wish to use St Paul’s as a base for staff training days. We welcome staffteams to our schools centre for this purpose. Our classroom is suitable for upto sixty people. It is equipped with an interactive whiteboard and projector.

Although you are conducting your own programme on the day you may wishto book an additional guided tour of the Cathedral with particular focus onhow you might use it with your pupils. Our schools team will lead these toursfor you. They must however be booked in advance.

The cost to hire the centre is £150.00 +VAT for a day.

Why not book one of our special INSET days or half days?

We will lead a workshop/activity session on R.E. topics such as: • Visiting a place of Christian Worship• Prayer and Spirituality• Reflective Story Telling• Cross Curricular themes at St Paul’s • The Spiritual Development of Children and Young People

There will also be a guided tour of the Cathedral included that focuses onhow to use the building with your pupils.

The cost of this day is: £250.00 + VAT or £150.00 + VAT for a half day.

We welcome ‘cluster groups’ of schools/Diocesan groups/advisers’groups/schools from different faith backgrounds and SEN schools. Twilightsessions are also a possibility.

Catering may be provided but there will be an extra charge and this wouldbe booked in advance with our café managers Harbour & Jones.
