enough for success. The present demand of the
business & industry is to have persons with
strong managerial acumen and highly impressive
personality. The personality assessment of each
student is done by HR experts and the students
are given feedback as well as thorough guidance
to overcome their limitations. The aim is to

command over communication skills is
indispensable for success in their jobs.
Keeping this in view, we have developed
Communication and Language Labs
particularly for oral communication skills of
the students under the guidance of learned
linguists and with the support of modern
gadgets and voice-therapy techniques. The
Labs have a provision of self-monitoring,
appraisal and feedback system.
Each student is paid personal attention to
enhance his personality in a friendly and
inspiring environment.
It aims to provide professional advice and
personal counseling to all the students to
facilitate their entry into the corporate world.
15-20 students are attached to a faculty
member, who acts as their mentor through-out
their stay in the college.
Student forums and clubs provide an avenue
to develop them culturally and technically. The
students forums organise activities like
Quizes, Lectures on Ethics & Moral Values,
Public Speaking, Cooperative Learning,

The faculty members are pursuing basic and applied research in several areas such as aero
microbiology, microbiology of indigenous drug plants etc. Thrust areas of research are: bioinoculant
characterization, formulation, production and evaluation for sustainable agriculture.
The results of the students of the department have always been almost on the top in the University. A
number of students of this department have been selected in Central Services, Indian Forest Services,
Universities, CSIR and ICAR research labs, DRDO labs, pharmaceutical concerns and microbiological
industries.
Microbiology is a branch of Biology that includes the study of growth, characteristics and various other
aspects related to the life cycle of micro organisms. Microbiology includes many branches like
Bacteriology, Virology, Mycology, Parasitology. Microbiologists play a significant role in the society. They
have been responsible for the development of vaccines, antiserums against a wide variety of diseases
including small pox, typhoid, whooping cough, polio, measles etc.
Scope
Presently, microbiologists work in almost
every connected industry and have many
different responsibilities. They find jobs in
research and development laboratories of
government and private hospitals, research
organizations, pharmaceutical, food, beverage
and chemical industries. Universities,

education with a view to producing world-class legal professionals, scholars & public servants. IAMR
Law College empowers its students with knowledge, skills and vision to meet the challenges &
opportunities of a rapidly changing world.
IAMR Law College integrates class room learning with training. We believe that real life situations of
legal arena can be known only when the students equip themselves fully with the practical knowledge of
law. Legal education through class room learning and moot court participation stimulates the learning
zeal of students. The Moot Court sessions encourage the development of skills in brief writing and oral
advocacy.
The Moot Court is practiced in different stages like analysis of the facts of a case to arrive at legal points,
to understand the decided cases in light of a case presented in the Moot court, preparation of the
complaint, written statement, drafting written and oral arguments and conduct of the participants with
opponent counselors and the bench.
We lay a great emphasis on students' participation in the Moot Court.
