Centrex

system

In a Centrex system, a pool of telephonelines is leased at the phone company’scentral office.

In this system, the telephone companyowns and houses the equipment at theirlocation.

This service is easy to set up, upgrade,and is highly reliable.

It has fewer features than many PBX

The internet protocol suite is the set of communication protocols used for the internetand generally the most popular protocol stackfor wide area networks it is commonly known as

TCP/IP. It provides end to end connectivityspecifying how data should be

formatted,addressed,transmitted,routed andreceived.it has four layer.

The application layer contains the higher-level protocolsused by most applications for network communication.Examples of application layer protocols include theFile Transfer Protocol (FTP) and theSimple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP).
