Virtual Teacher ProgramThe Virtual Teacher Program offers the skills needed to transitionfrom teaching in the classroom to facilitating instruction in anonline or blended environment.
Course topics provide best practices for online instruction, studentengagement and virtual community building; effective uses ofasynchronous and synchronous technologies, social media andother emerging technologies; and data analysis techniques andstudent performance measurements to individualize instruction inan online or blended environment. The program concludes with afinal project to apply the knowledge and skills learned throughoutthe courses.
