Medical Staff Society presents our Virtual Program celebrating Women in Medicine: WOMEN IN MEDICINE MONOLOGUES VIRTUAL GUEST SPEAKER | Stephanie Hartselle, MD, FAPA, DF-AACAP HOW TO BE ANYTHING WITHOUT HAVING TO BE EVERYTHING A practical path toward balancing achievement and contentment in our busy lives. Dr. Hartselle is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology; board certified in pediatric and adult psychiatry. Dr. Hartselle received her M.D. from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her adult psychiatry training at New York University/Bellevue Hospitals and her child psychiatry training at Brown University, where she served as chief resident. Previously, she served as the Medical Director of the Emergency Psychiatry Program at Hasbro Children’s Hospital at Brown. For many women, traveling on the road to advancement can default to controlling everything about an assigned task. This can lead to burnout, failure and disillusionment with the process. This program will give an introduction into the aspects of control that help and limit us, help us identify areas we can improve and offers options to increase flexibility and improve our coping skills in work and home life.
