For me virtual communication is present in many things such as the Social Networks, messenger, searching information to do my homework, or to watch TV series, or movies when I’m bored

It also helps me to prepare lunch or dinner when I’m alone at home (searching recipes in youtube e.g.)

To allow users to interact, share and meet other users.

A virtual interaction that replaces physical interactions.

Web - enabled software programs.

Collaborative Software

Designed to help people involved in a common task and then they can achieve their goals.

E.g.: e-mails, calendars, web conferencing, meetings.

Why should we care?

The problem is not the hours that we spend on

the Internet, the problem is the activities that we

substitute for those hours on facebook, tuenti, etc. Because, unfortunately, time is finite and if you

spend four hours looking at these networks, then we have four hours less to do other activities: studying, reading, etc.

This is the problem of virtual communications…
