1. CALOU RENARDIERE - In cracking form over past two months. Could have won a Gr.3 last time had he not faulted and with application will be a serious proposition

2. ALINEA - Regularly a question of all or nothing. Imposed over course and distance earlier in the year and can play a major role if he gets off on the right foot

3. BARAKA DE LOU - Fine servant when focused and barefoot. Shod this time though and best to wait

4. VIXEL - Hardy veteran that has yet to make his presence felt this term and chances limited

5. BETTINA DE TILLARD - Decent in both disciplines but better under the saddle at the moment and not an obvious choice

6. BARON DU BOURG - Solid in both codes during the spring but somewhat disappointing since and must reaffirm

7. BELLE LOUISE MABON - Quality mare that trotted 4th in a Saint Malo Gr.3 a

fortnight ago. Has decent references under these conditions and will not be far off from the action

8. COLORADO BLUE - Enjoying a fine run since returning to competition. Fourth in an Enghien Gr.2 a month ago and at this level can have his way

9. VALSEME - Has merit but reliability not his strong suit. Fifth to (14) BALZAC DE L'ITON last time and must find more

10. ATINO DE L'ORMERIE - Seldom gets his nose in front but always gives his best. Has never excelled over 2850m on the long course though and others preferred

11. ARCHIBALD - Seldom far from losing his action but more than reassured at Les Sables recently and on good behaviour can pick up a stake

12. TINAMO JET - Tricky type but can trot. Comes here on a hat trick of sanctions but with application will not be far off the mark

13. ALL FEELING - Placed just once in six under these conditions but clearly back at his best and can put on a good show

14. BALZAC DE L'ITON - Good dual discipline trotter that pleased in a claimer recently. Is barefoot this time though and with his handler in the wagon will be afforded every chance

15. BLEU CIEL - Can prove a handful but has nothing to prove in this class. Is in form and with application will have a lot to offer

16. AVRIK DE GUEZ - Proven at this level but showing more in the claiming division these days and chances limited

Summary

At the top of his game for the past two months (1) CALOU RENARDIERE would have secured the last GNT stage had he not faulted but with application can more than make amends. Raffin will nonetheless want to keep a watchful eye on (15) BLEU CIEL who was also sanctioned that day but who has never disappointed with David Thomain in the sulky. (8) COLORADO BLUE has been in flying form all year and his recent Gr.2 effort stands him in good stead. In terms of class (12) TINAMO JET is one of the best horses here and in present condition must be taken seriously. (7) BELLE LOUISE MABON most recently pleased in the race of reference and can again finish in the mix.

1. GARANCE DES BORDES - Put on a good show in qualification earlier this month and if as good in competition can get a look in

2. GOSTERKA DU DEZERT - Modest filly that has done nothing of note so far and can be confidently ruled out

3. GELINOTTE MOULIN - Disappointing on the whole since her May debut and needs to show another side

4. GLORIA D'AMOUR - Yet to show any aptitude for either code and can be confidently passed over

5. GRANDE HISTOIRE - Late developer that failed to impress at Enghien three weeks ago and must show marked improvement

6. GIVE ME SEVEN - Very impressive despite faulting on only ridden start to date. Has been prepared for this and with application can impose

7. GUERILLA GIRLS - Tricky type but showed promise on lone ridden start and on good behaviour will not be far off the mark

8. GRETA - Reassured with a respectable effort at Cabourg last time but still has more to find

9. GAZELLE D'ISI - In the frame in two of three to date. Goes first time left handed but one to note all the same

10. GAZELLE DU DIGEON - Moderate filly that got off the mark in a minor event a fortnight ago. Takes a big hike in class though and a minor place chance at best

11. GRIOTTE DU VIF - Sanctioned on lone appearance under the saddle but opened her harness account earlier in the month and if form transitions can get a look in

12. GODZILLA BLUE - Complicated but has bags of talent. Showed her form earlier in the month and on better behaviour can make the frame

13. GEISHA SPEED - Has demonstrated good aptitude for both codes. M.Mottier back in the saddle and can pick up another stake

14. GAZELLE DE LA GIRO - Unbeaten in both ridden starts going left handed and once again looks a serious proposition

Summary

Although her formsheet may not be the most attractive (6) GIVE ME SEVEN nonetheless left quite the impression on her ridden debut here mid-June and if applied can open her account. She is unlikely to have it all her own way though

considering how well (14) GAZELLE DE LA GIRO has acquitted herself to date. The delicate but talented (12) GODZILLA BLUE impressed at Pornichet last time following her fault and will be no pushover this time provided she can stay in stride. (7) GUERILLA GIRLS encouraged on her only appearance in the specialty and must be afforded respect.

1. GHOST DU BELLAY - Unremarkable colt that has yet to show any aptitude for the game and can be passed over

2. GIFT DE VANDEL - Sanctioned as often as not but has nevertheless shown decent aptitude. Takes a hike in category though and others preferred

3. GUIGNOL - Erratic but has obvious ability. Pleased despite the sanction in a Cagnes Class A recently and must not be overlooked

4. GO WINNER - In the frame in three of four to date but below par in last two and will need to raise his game

5. GIBALDI DE HOUELLE - Serious sort making Vincennes debut on a three timer and while unlikely to impose can still put on a good show

6. GANAY DE BANVILLE - Solid as a rock since his early July debut. Trainer in the sulky this time and can get off the mark

7. GERONIMO FUEGO - Moderate type that could finish no closer than 4th in an Enghien Class E ten days ago and will need to find more

8. GENEPI ARCTIC - Delicate sort but appears to have found his way. Imposed left handed last time out and can again make his presence felt

9. GREAT ROCK - Superb winner on debut here early February. Unseen since but is a serious colt in the making and if fully fit can play a leading role

10. GUNSHO NELLIERE - No slouch when applied but has no references on a hard surface and expected to have his work cut out

11. GENET DE BOITRON - Has never failed to deliver going left handed. Presently in decent shape and can pick up a cheque

12. GOSSIP BOY - Lost his maiden tag at La Capelle late last month. Can get in on the action if he takes to the Vincennes profile

13. GRITT - Opened his account and set his personal best at Les Sables d'Olonne eleven days ago. Repeat unlikely but can still pick up a stake

14. GREATISSIME - Slow starter but highly impressive at Cabourg earlier in the month and in similar form can double his money

15. GRAAL DUB'S - Useful colt with a good entry here. Disappointing in two this term though and others preferred

Summary

It took (14) GREATISSIME some time to come to hand but he has shown a different side in recent weeks and can double his money if he reproduces his recent Cabourg performance. He will however face opposition from the promising

(6) GANAY DE BANVILLE who has been knocking at the door. Unseen since opening his account over course and distance last February (9) GREAT ROCK can get straight back in the game. (5) GIBALDI DE HOUELLE has won two of three and makes his metropolitan debut with a good hand to play.

1. VALZER DI POGGIO - Serious Italian trotter that imposed first time out for JMB stable. Steps marginally up in class but still a leading contender

3. VIPERA KILLER GAR - Good class of mare that won her last two including at the venue but shoes on this time and best to wait

4. CURRENT AFFAIR - Pleased during the spring before form tailed off. Has had time to freshen up and if fully fit can get a look in

5. EMPHASIS TURBO - Knocking at the door in last three and latterly second to (10) ELIZIR DU HOME. Minor place chance

6. VIOLETTO JET - Fine trotter that has thrived since coming to France. Has never failed to deliver over course and distance and after a short breather can win this

7. ESTEBANE SACHA - Highly impressive last season but unplaced in both this term and will need the outing following her break

8. ECUREUIL JENILOU - Not at his sharpest lately but has twice won here. Is first time barefoot and can redeem himself

9. EDEN BASQUE - Has looked decidedly ordinary for some time and will need to raise his game

10. ELIZIR DU HOME - Very hard to fault since returning from his spring break. Trounced the opposition at Enghien two weeks ago and can again make the frame

11. EZALYO SMART - Impressive when unshod and focused. Has previously imposed under these conditions but has shoes on and no chance on first start since the spell

Summary

Superb in his native Italy (6) VIOLETTO JET has since shown a particular liking for French conditions and given his freshness and appreciation of these conditions is expected to take all the beating. Nivard will still want to remain wary of compatriot (1) VALZER DI POGGIO who imposed on his first start for the Bazire stable. (10) ELIZIR DU HOME most recently flew up at Enghien and going barefoot again looks a major player. Considerably better than recent results would suggest (8) ECUREUIL JENILOU races first time unshod all four and can get back in the game.

1. EVIDENCE FLY - Imposed at Cabourg on return to the ridden code. Has placed over 2700m here and will have her supporters

3. EDITION GOLD QUICK - Boasts an excellent record under the saddle and winner of only start under these conditions. Comes here on a three timer and could well pull it off

4. BORN UNICORN - Reliability not his strong suit but can trot. Showed his form behind (9) HOOTERS USA last time and with application can get in on the action

5. ELEGANTE MIKA - Useful on a good day but has no particular love for the long course and others preferred

6. EAGLE MESLOIS - Placed just once in six under the saddle. Is in form though and being entrusted to M.Mottier for first time may prove key to his redemption

7. EUSEBIO DU ROUMOIS - Blows hot and cold but is capable and has references under these conditions. Unplaced in last two but is barefoot this time and can begin to make amends

8. ECLATANT - Fine servant in this branch of the business and already a winner over course and distance. Has one run in him and if race fit can play a leading role

9. HOOTERS USA - Quality trotter that imposed with ease on ridden debut at Enghien last week and can again play a prominent role

Summary

Twice a winner in three starts since the spring break (3) EDITION GOLD QUICK returns on a hat-trick to a track she appreciates and looks eminently capable of pulling it off. She will however encounter resistance from (8) ECLATANT who boasts a fine record with Eric Raffin in the irons. (2) ESCAPADE is back in her preferred discipline with a leading pilot in the saddle and can get straight down to business. (9) HOOTERS USA made his ridden debut a winning one but may well have to settle for a place cheque this time around.

1. FLECHE DU YUCCA - Highly impressive this term with five wins in last six starts. Steps up in class for Vincennes debut but is first time unshod behind and looks a leading contender

2. FIERTE DE BAILLE - Gave a respectable account behind (7) FEE DE BOISNEY last time here. Below par in last two but is barefoot for the occasion and can finish in the mix

3. FERLAINE - Just one win in 23 but not entirely without merit. Not the biggest fan of Vincennes though and will have few friends

4. FAMILOTE - Previously a good sort but a total write off this term and must reaffirm

5. FUSION MERITE - Imposed over the long course before being sent for a break. Made a solid comeback across town last week and will not be sent out at such a generous price this time around

6. FLOWER BY MAGALOU - Useful on a good day and has won over track and trip. Just one race in her since the break but is barefoot and must be respected

7. FEE DE BOISNEY - Good consistent sort that latterly raced well at Enghien when shod. Is proven here and going barefoot can again make her presence felt

8. FILLY RAINBOW - Seldom far from the action when she can maintain stride. Unseen since early June though and with shoes on is unlikely to spring any surprises

9. FOLLE DE TOI - Moderate sort but reinvigorated in two of last three. Has never delivered at Vincennes however and can be passed over

10. FEE DE LUNOJO - Fourth in last two appearances over course and distance. Unseen for almost two months but is barefoot and can get a look in

11. FUN DESTINEE - Good class of filly but never far from losing her action. Left regrets at Les Sables last time but with application can more than make amends

12. FINE DE CASTELLE - Serious filly that goes well when barefoot. Just headed by (7) FEE DE BOISNEY on only start under these conditions but has the upper hand this time

13. FUSION INTENSE - Complicated but has placed twice in four here. Shoes on this time but still not to be ignored

14. FINE PERLE DU GITE - Has done nothing of note all season and given her dislike for Vincennes will have little to offer

15. FAZENDA DE MORTREE - Gives a good account for most part when unshod. Unproven on the main track but will still have her supporters

16. FEMILIA PIERJI - Quality element with better references in the other code.

Has other priorities and no threat

Summary

Winner of five of her last six and latterly in style going left-handed (1) FLECHE DU YUCCA makes her first appearance at Vincennes and can make it a winning one. The complicated (11) FUN DESTINEE is very hard to fault when focused and on good behaviour will be the principal threat. Solid of late (7) FEE DE BOISNEY is barefoot for the occasion and her place is on the podium. Already a winner under these conditions (2) FIERTE DE BAILLE will have her chances if applied. (13) FUSION INTENSE is one for the shortlist.

6. BACHERRA DU MOULIN - Winner of her last three ridden starts at the venue. Has one race under her belt and can impose

7. CAPITAINE FRANCE - Quality element that got back in the game behind (1) BRIO DE TILLARD at Meslay and in similar form can again get in on the action

8. CAMBO MAJYC - Can prove a handful but otherwise very productive. Adores these conditions and on good behaviour can figure prominently

9. DELICIEUX DU CEBE - Blows hot and cold and has only once made his mark over 2700m under the saddle. Minor place chance at best

Summary

Twice a winner over shorter here during the spring (6) BACHERRA DU MOULIN most recently made a solid re-entry under harness and with shoes off for the occasion should be able to win this. The complicated but talented (8) CAMBO MAJYC has very good credentials in this branch of the business and with application can apply the pressure. Eric Raffin gets on well with the delicate (2) CESAR DE VRIE and should be able to exact revenge on (1) BRIO DE TILLARD who had his measure at Enghien a fortnight ago.

6. DARLINGTON PARK - Quality trotter with two races under his belt. Adores Vincennes and with JMB in the sulky looks a major player

7. DANSEUR BAROQUE - Has nothing to prove at this level. One race in him since the break but goes barefoot this time and can pick up a cheque

8. DOCTEUR D'ERABLE - Highly consistent in recent months. Beaten only by a good horse last time and can again make the frame

9. DREAMER DE CHENU - Remarkable campaigner with an exceptional strike rate this year. Second at Enghien last time but still a serious player

Summary

Back at the top of his game in recent months (9) DREAMER DE CHENU returns to Vincennes following two successive wins and can make it three on the trot. Raffin can still expect to feel the heat from (6) DARLINGTON PARK who seldom fails to fire with JMB in the wagon. (8) DOCTEUR D'ERABLE is a model of consistency that appreciates the venue and in present form is hard to fault. (4) CRACK MONEY has won eight of his last ten and needs no introduction.

7. ESTA BONITA - Good third on debut at Angers in May. That was promising. Absence since is a slight worry

8. SAINT ROMAIN - By Rajsaman out of a Lope De Vega mare. Dam was a dual winner and this is her first foal

9. BE MY DAY - By Zebedee out of a Singspiel mare. Dam was classy dual winner and at Group and her first foal has been successful

10. CHEF D'ORCHESTRE - By Music Master out of an Excellent Art mare. Dam won four times. This is her first foal

11. ZUCESSO - By Dabirsim out of a Big Shuffle mare. Dam won eight times and this is her first foal to come racing

12. PICCATA - By Sommerabend out of a Medicean mare. Dam was an average maiden and this is her first foal to race

13. ES VEDRA - By Dutch Art out of a Dubawi mare. Dam was a decent winner and has bred one good winner from three foals

Summary

This opening two year old event sets the pattern for the rest of the day insofar as it looks a very tricky card for punters. One of the newcomers looks interesting and that one is the Zebedee colt, (9) BE MY DAY, who is a half brother to a nice winner and it helps that the dam is by Singspiel. He is a great influence. (7) ESTA BONITA and (13) ES VEDRA have chances along with (3) MONTE CINTO.

4. MOUNIRCHOP - A three time winner from thirty five runs but recent efforts are very off putting

5. INTENSETY - Just the seven runs and won one of those. Better fifth at Chantilly last time out

6. DANDY FLAME - Half a dozen wins from thirty seven. Needs to be forgiven a lapse last time out at Dieppe

7. LA PUNTA ALA - A two time winner from twenty five runs but hardly one to be on here

8. RACHAEL'S ROCKET - Just the one victory from thirty eight but looks to have little hope here

9. INTERSTELLAIRE - Still a maiden after eleven runs. A fourth last time at Montier en Der was a better effort

10. KILLING JOKE - Just the one win from fifty seven outings and those statistics are not good

11. JOAN JET - One success from twenty seven runs and cannot be fancied in any way at all

12. CAMPIONE - Seven time winner from seventy eight and unlikely to be troubling the judge too much here

13. KING'S RISK - Four time victor from seventy two and is another that cannot be fancied

14. OROMO - A dozen wins from seventy two runs. Finished sixth last time at Deauville

Summary

This four year old handicap is looking very short on overall quality. Therefore it is with hope rather than confidence that (6) DANDY FLAME is put forward. The selection disappointed last time at Dieppe but is forgiven that and maybe able to see off (1) SHOWTIME STAR who was third at Deauville last time. (3) SUREWECAN and (9) INTERSTELLAIRE are also interesting.

4. MY GIRL - Placed on the last of her five runs which came at Dieppe so that was a step in the right direction

5. THE TIME - By Evasive out of a Holy Roman Emperor mare. Dam was unraced and her first foal has yet to score

6. SAINT GAUDENT - Fifth on debut at Chantilly in June and should come on a lot for that here

7. KEA - Finished eighth on debut at Saint Cloud in April. Needs to do more here today

8. TURNBERRY - Finished eighth on debut at Orleans in June. Will have to better that form and some more

9. GO LADY - By Soldier Hollow out of a Lando mare. Dam was a maiden. Her first foal has yet to win

Summary

(2) HANDMAIDEN must have a serious chance in this three year old maiden. The daughter of Invincible Spirit was runner three times in Britain last season, two of which were at Newmarket. Her last time out third here over this course and distance might be strong enough to see off potential dangers, (3) VIVID DREAM and (6) SAINT GAUDENT while (4) MY GIRL has a shot too.

6. SAGA MAN - In terrific form winning last two at Angouleme and Amiens. That last run came in May

7. CALAJANI - A three time winner from forty nine runs. Third in latest two at Dieppe and ParisLongchamp

8. ALFORROCHO - Four wins from eighty three including last time out at Clairefontaine Deauville

9. ESPOIR PARFAIT - Still a maiden after sixteen runs but was runner up at Deauville on the latest of those

10. LE BUT - A dozen wins from sixty runs and difficult to build a strong case for here

11. OKMAN DES MOTTES - Just the one win from twenty one and others make much more appeal today

12. DESERT DUNE - A three time winner from sixty four attempts and will do well to get any way close

13. WORLD VICTORY - Just the one fourth place in ten outings and surely has to do much better

Summary

This class four handicap for older horses will hardly set the pulse racing among the serious punters. Just a token bet on the joint top weight, (1) TEMPLE BOY, is the advice. The seven year old gelding signalled a return to form when fifth at Vichy last time. (2) EN SOUPLESSE will not go down without a fight. Other to look at include (7) CALAJANI and (8) ALFORROCHO.
