About my art
Since I started painting at a very young age, I’m constantly shaping my style – add-ing new techniques, removing old limits, each time experimenting more freely and bringing new elements. I have gone through many stages; I’d like to believe that my style evolves and continues to mature with me.
I specialized in Spain, where I learned that art and painting are fun. I believe that when people look at my paintings they can feel the energy and the joy I felt when creating them. People see that each painting has a story to tell. Whether it is a tender romance, an unforgettable jazz night with friends, or an old city calling for adventure, the story is always there.
Beauty inspires me: in nature, in people, in cozy cities, in music. I do not draw sad pictures, do not use sharp contrasts or edgy shapes. My philosophy is that a painting should be elevating, beautiful and tender.
You will rarely see black in my art. Even my sketches are made with a colorful crayon and pastel. For me, this is not a painting technique; it is an emotional deci-sion. My attitudes toward life are only warm, happy and bright feelings with loads of love in all its interpretations. I need this positivity to I create my paintings.
I like to add enigma, too. Fantasy is the state of mind that inspires me. By means of fantasy I create the perfect now, the past and the future. In my art you will see a touch of the real world and, at the same time, you will feel caressed by the mira-cle world of fantasy. I believe that people who like my art recognize the childhood dreams they have kept in their hearts.
