QR code

QR code is a new code written or hidden in a specific digital language.

The Maya calendar is also a kind of a code for us, containing information: not having the necessary program or not knowing the language we

cannot understand it.

Making parallels between these two themes, in the context of 2012, this project is a comparison between the beginning and the end of the

world.

Thus, turning the concepts of the Gyumri Biennales into QR codes can be viewed as a special digital ritual which also has a meaning: it is an

attempt to understand whether this is the beginning or the end.
