NEWSLETTER for the month of Poush 2073

First Sessional Examination of 3rd Semester

1st Periodical Examination of all the five subjects of 3rd Semester (Cost and Management Accounting, Business Finance, Database Management, Marketing Management and Business Environment of Nepal) was held within the five days from 3rd Poush to 7th Poush 2073 (the subject of 7th Poush was held on 8th – the next day) due to Strike on the 7th.

Christmas 2016 Celebrated

First Semester students organized a 'full-of-thrill/ action/ vigor Christmas Celebration Program' inside their classroom on 25th December 2016 Sunday. The two-hour program, which got started after the lighting of the blowing candles at the four sides of the Christmas Cake followed by the Cake-cutting by the Campus Chief and distribution of its portions to all, had the mixed components of songs, dances, jokes and messages. On the one hand, Babu Ram Sharma, Dol Raj Dhakal and Kishore Khanal were the participants from the Faculty side among which the first and second could be seen providing exclusive amusement through their singing/ playing of madal ( local two-sided small drum); while on the other Coordinator Kamala Gurung showed her mastery in the singing field. The program; jointly emceed by Anita Shrestha, Abhaya Khadka and Raghav Tharu; had some solo performances from some students including songs by Srijana Shrestha and Ankit Khanal and group dances/ songs/musical instrument playing etc. with the total involvement of almost all. At the end, Vice Campus Chief Ashish Mishra wished all Merry Christmas; and Campus Chief Dr. Jayahari Raj Pandey – also wishing Merry Christmas 2016 to all present- inspired the students through some encouraging words.

30. Introduction of the Student of the Year was announced in which due to tie in the numbers, Subin Tamang and Smriti Shrestha were declared as the two 'Student of the Year Award' recipients

31. Student of the Year Award: they were recognized through Individual Certificates, Individual Trophies, and Cash Award of Rs. 2,500/- each ( out of the total sum of Rs. 5,000/-) by the Campus Chief
